Absolute worst experience Ive ever had in a restaurant. Service was horrendous. Hubby, our baby, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and niece all went after our Christmas pics today. After seating ourselves, the waiter came to take our drink order, walked away, then came back because he forgot our order (all waters, chocolate milk for my 5 yr old neice). Took 30 min to get our waters and not only did he forget my nieces chocolate milk, but we watched him drop it walking away from the bar area where he made it then proceeded to just stand there and talk instead of making her a new one. It took 45 minutes for a chocolate milk. He blamed the bartender for not making it when he got to our table with it. Sister-in-law ordered a margarita on the rocks that not only arrived at the table as clear as our water, but tasted horrible. After waiting 45 more minutes for our food (3 omelets and it wasnt even busy) and it all being cold, he once again forgot my nieces order (Mac n cheese). He didnt even realize it until we had to tell him. After we finished all of our food, he finally brought hers out and it was cold. His reasoning? The kitchen was preparing the Mac n cheese for the day (3 hours after they opened?) and messed it up so they had to start over. He had an excuse for everything that went wrong, none of it being his fault. Never again will I step foot into this restaurant. And never will I recommend it to anyone unless they like over priced, cold food and horrible service.

Look Ill be honest, this place is overpriced, and overrated. The servers are hit or miss, sometimes you get a great waitress like Alex, and sometimes you get someone who clearly doesnt care about you one bit. The prices are over the top, $10 for a martini at a fancy martini bar, great. $10 for a martini at BL, not cool. Just the other day they had an event, $2 martinis, $1.25 domestics, and $1 burgers. GREAT, sounds fun! However the new manager (who told me he was FIRED from his past job, I see why), just stood around and watched his bartenders and servers struggle in the chaos. The bar was WAY understaffed, only 4 bar tenders with a 20 minute minimum wait for drinks, NO BUSSERS were scheduled to keep tables clean, and the servers were way too busy to buss tables themselves. Tables had half eaten food, empty bottles, empty glasses. We had to buss our own table just to get a seat. And when the manager did come to clean he said he didn’t care about the dishes and food he just wanted martini glasses… I was a server for many years, I don’t blame the servers for this crap shoot at all. It falls squarely on the manager who clearly doesn’t know how to run a coney island, let alone an upscale bar. But even on a normal day at BL, they food is hit or miss at best, the server half the time couldn’t care less about your table, and the prices are ridicules. It’s a rarity that I ever come here. Disappointing, at best.

I cant say that there are much worse bars, especially for a chain restaurant that should have a basic standard of quality to uphold the brands name. This restaurant has a horrendous habit of ignoring groups of customers. I understand that it tends to be busy, but that is no excuse for ignoring customers for well over an hour, or for there to be an hour wait on burgers, or twenty minute waits on drinks. The wait staff is very chatty to certain tables, while ignoring others. There seems to be very little (if any) organization to how the restaurant is run, so at least part of the issue isnt necessarily on the wait staff. Honestly, it falls upon the management for being unequipped to handle their job and take charge in organization. After several god-awful experiences at this restaurant (at least a handful) I will not be going back, and neither will my friends.

Normally refrain from commenting on these sites. However, during a lunch there on Tuesday a large group of us met for lunch. All was going well most everybodys food was prepared as they anticipated it should be. However, one of the people that I was with received a salad with a crumbled up receipt buried within the salad. The waitress was alerted and she took the salad away to the kitchen. Although she did ask the patron if she would like something else, which she did not that was the only encounter we had with any of the wait staff. I found it strange that the manager of the restaurant did not come over and apologized and offered a free meal or something to her. We have eaten at Applebees in the past and when our meal was not as we expected we were at least given a free meal on another trip. I doubt that I will go back to that restaurant again. Unbelievable!!

I dont typically eat at chain restaurants, but I was very hungry and stopped here after work. It was crowded but definitely not packed. I sat at the bar because I was alone, but I dont drink. The bartender seemed to have an attitude when I ordered iced tea. I was passed several times and waited about 10 minutes to order, even though the couple sitting one bar stool away were getting great service. The service barely improved the rest of my time here, but I was impressed with my meal. I had the Voodoo chicken and a house salad. The entree had a sauce with really good flavor and a nice balance. Service sucks though, so I wont be back anytime soon

I literally hate this place. My fiances friends always go here too. I used to go with them, but I hate this place so much that I dont go anymore. You order something and it takes over an hour for them to bring it out... they almost always get it wrong too. They are not consistent with the amount of alcohol in their drinks at all either. The waitresses are dressed really skimpy and never give you refills. The food and drinks are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS here... to top it all off my grandmother got her purse stolen here and no one tried to help her. :/

I cant remember worse service in the last several years. They were extremely slow, very few customers. Sat at the bar and wasnt even acknowledged for 10 minutes. Was never greeted by any of the staff. Looked over the menu and was 20 minutes before anyone had an inkling to ask if Id like to order. Asked to cash out and then bartender stared making drinks/taking orders from other patrons at the bar. Right back at you, no tip and walked out. The single beer was on them tonight....! Dumbass...!

My wife and I stopped here on our way back from a family reunion and were pleasantly surprised how good the food is . We have eaten here twice and both times our experiences have been great. The food was prepared well and was well presented. Everything tasted very good and our service was prompt. The sever we had seemed passionate/knowledgeable about the dishes they offered too. It’s a shame the closest Bar Louie is 40 minutes away (We live near Lansing) otherwise we might eat here more often.

I thought it was a good place to grab a beer and wings after a day of shopping. Good, but not great service -- it was crowded, and I was at the bar by myself, so that probably had something to do with it. The wings were pretty good, reasonably priced and the atmosphere was much better than anywhere else in Flint, Ill tell you that. No thugs, wanna-bes or otherwise, just regular people out having a good time. The DJ was OK, and it seemed like a classy spot to relax, or, party in the future.
