This was our first time dining at Breakfast Club, after rave reviews from our friends. My girlfriend and I are both servers, and we both cook breakfast food at home all the time. Service was acceptable, but the real horror was the food. I ordered the Farmer Connors Country Omelet, which is advertised to contain four eggs - at most it had three, but thats pushing it. It was absolutely miniscule compared to expectations. On top of that, the omelet was dry and devoid of flavor. Their white toast was completely stale, as though it had been sitting out for days. Their hashbrowns were burnt on the outside, yet mush on the inside - a sign that theyve been frozen and thawed multiple times. My girlfriend ordered the Breakfast Club Wrap. How could they screw up their flagship dish? Lets start with completely raw bacon, and like my omelet, it was entirely bland. Our server returned to the table, our plates hardly touched, and I explained to him our problems with the meal. The manager arrived shortly after that, clearly mad at us. "Whatre you complaints here?" she asked. We described how thoroughly inedible our meals were, and were asked why we dont just order something else. Instead of showing humility, and being remorseful for the atrocity she let come to our table, the manager was accusatory and unprofessional. I insisted that I only pay for my coffee, and leave. I left a ten on the table, and we walked out. As mentioned, my girlfriend and I are servers ourselves - we go out all the time, and have never once complained, despite receiving some questionable food and service. Today we felt it necessary... so much so that were posting here and on Yelp.

I first found this lil restaurant 7 years ago when I moved here. They had & still have some wonderful food. My last time in, and this will be my last time, I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict. I dont know why I expected a full size Crab Cake with an egg & sauce other than my experiences at better restaurants. What I received was an English muffin with an incredibly thin Crab Cake patty (less than a ¼"), poached egg, and sauce. It would seem that all the meals are now served in stainless pans as well for no other reason than the novelty of it. Sucks for the servers, but also I really dont want to eat out of pan. I had not been there in over a year. That time I brought my visiting family. It took over an hour to get our food and 3 of the six dishes were wrong. *Im a former server, bartender, and bar manager. I am not someone who doesnt understand how hard the job is. The OWNER is the problem here! The staff is great.

Overall my experience was positive and I will go back. This place is very small and when busy, it may take a while to be seated so dont go if you are in a hurry. The waiting area is small but there is a long bench for sitting and most people are nice enough to move close together so there is room for everyone. The parking lot is small so you may have to park around the block or across the street at the church which is allowed. All of the staff were very friendly except for the gentleman the takes you to your table (one other reviewer said he was like lurch from the Adams family and its true...lol). The food was excellent (see my picture). I had the oven baked french toast and mom had an omelette. The food is a little expensive (my bill was $30 bucks) but well worth it. The waitress forgot my eggs but I forgave her and moved on....I went on a sat morning at about 11:30am so get there early if you dont want to wait long.

Probably one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. First, the place has an uncomfortable, guests not welcome feel to it. It is like walking into someones house that does not want you there. The manager/ host/ owner (whatever) was pretty much like Lurch, only with absolutely no personality, or life. The menu looked interesting as did the specials. I tried the "Proper Belgian Waffles with Hazelnut Butter". Not only were they completely tasteless and try, but pretty much burned, too. There were 2 of them and were only about 4" in diameter each. Horrible. The hazelnut butter was broken, curdled and tasted like ground up cocoa puffs. It was the best thing on the dish. Not saying much. My girlfriend had the breakfast quesadilla. Tasteless. The bill was $25 (without tip). Ridiculous. Also, my 6oz glass of orange juice was $3.25. Do not eat here. Server was nice, though.

Give it a try twice, and was very disappointed both times. The only thing mentioning that was good was the English Muffin Bread. The first time I ordered the Tuscan breakfast bowl and the presentation was disgusting. The eggs were brown from the "artichoke" I was told, although I did not see ANY artichoke in the dish at all. Very little everything acutally. It was just a lot of diced potatoes on the bottom. The second time I ordered an omelete. I mean, who can screw up an omelete. I could tell right away it was not right. I asked the waiter if it was made with egg beaters and he said yes, something liquid like that. He said you have to ASK if you want them to use REAL eggs in it. I paid $14 for that omelete and a tiny glass of OJ. What a rip. Never go back. If you go, dont forget to ask for REAL eggs, as if you should have to.....

Ive been going here for the past year. It was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere just felt very homey. Never had a bad experience until today. An older gentleman was complaining about how small the pancakes were and I assumed he just wasnt sure what he was ordering. The waitress brushed him off and said it was "a sign if the times." I ordered my favorite blueberry multigrain pancakes which used to be fluffy and delicious. They were literally a third of the size, flat, and had no blueberries! For the first time ever, I came home without leftovers and Im not sure Ill go back. Id much rather they raised the price 50 cents then make me look forward to quality they arent willing to produce anymore. Theyre always busy, doubt theyre losing very much money. How much does it cost to make a pancake?

First time trying this place today and the last for sure. Ordered a standard big breakfast 3 eggs over medium, hash browns, bacon and rye toast. What I got was uncooked hasbrowns (tasted like raw potatoes) 3 eggs so over done the yoke popped out and bacon that was in no way fresh. If your going to serve it in a frying pan at least make sure its warm food. The best thing was thier toast thats what the 1 star is for. The first cup of coffee was great but when I got to the bottom of my cup was full of coffee grounds, so I purposely wanted to see the very bottom, and left it on the table empty to get another cup and low and behold they just poured more coffee in. I normally dont complain but for 26 bucks for French toast and rye toast, you can keep it!
