I was blown away. I called in my order, drove down to get it, walked in, it was ready, it was hot, the portions were huge, and they really know their market, because the take out containers were perfect for stacking and storing instead of the usual paper boxes. The food was delicious, not the usual over sauced deep fried stuff with veggies from a can. It kept well overnight and made for a great lunch the next day, which is awesome for the value of a takeout place.

First time eating there. EXCELLENT FOOD, BIG PORTIONS!!!, a lot of food for the money. NOT just another Chinese restaurant, different flavors, different spices, and new entrees I have never tried!!...the food has its own signature taste. I love my Chinese food, so you have to try this place if you also love Chinese food...I recommend the Kung Fu chicken...if u like HOT, this is a awesome pick....SINUSES ARE CLEAR!!,LOL! THANKS TEA GARDEN!!! I WILL BE BACK!!!!

I just picked up some Hot and sour soup, garlic shrimp and crab rangoon. It is really good. Very well seasoned, the portions are big and the food was hot! The shrimp was tender and cooked perfectly. Next time I will ask them to not make it so spicy, but that is my personal preference, The service was casual and fast, the lady who helped me was friendly and polite. I gave them 5 stars because of cost v value and they score a 100 on that, I

I have been here a couple times and what you get determines how good it is. The lo mein was made with the flat noodles and was overcooked giving it a horrible texture. However, the sweet and sour chicken was phenomenal. The egg rolls were definitely not hand made and lacked freshness. I cannot speak code for any other dishes, but overall it seems like an average Chinese restaurant.

I have had occasion to dine at some of the nicest and most popular Chinese restaurants all over the US. That said, this small strip mall outfit provides some of the consistently best Chinese Ive had. Its definitely at or near the top of the heap in Grand Rapids, MI when it comes to Chinese take out. Thank goodness I live close to these guys!!

In my opinion, the best Chinese takeout in Grand Rapids. Orange chicken is my favorite, and the lunch portions are very reasonably priced and appropriate portions. I would rather Tea Garden quality portions than more quantity with poor quality from other options. Ive recommended this place to anyone I know that is in the mood for some Chinese.

Sorry, bad experience today - ordered chicken fried rice and 2 pops cost me almost $10.00. Then the chicken was diced like it came out of a frozen bag, the rice was chewy and no soy sauce, salt or pepper on the tables and you had to clean off your own table. Was not the best thing - would not send someone else there.

This is, by far, the best Chinese takeout in Grand Rapids. Even better than First Wok, Yen Ching, and whoever else is considered the best in town these days. The food is fantastic and the service is always fast, friendly, and accommodating of our requests. We love it and we eat it way more than we should.

Best Chinese food in Grand Rapids in my opinion. There is no buffet (which is great). All food is cooked fresh and ready in less than 10 minutes piping hot and always great tasting. Most dishes have lots of fresh veggies that are very crisp. Cleaner than must any restaurant and the staff is very friendly.

I used to work there for a while. The owners are seriously the kindest people ever. The food is delicious and its the most sanitary food service job Ive ever had. Everyones order is made in a separate wok and theyre cleaned between each order. The prices cant be beat.

I got food poisoning a few days ago after eating here. The doctor I saw told there has been other students getting sick after eating here as well. Be cautious for the time being with this place. I have notified the proper authorities as well to get this looked at.

Phenomenal. My absolute favorite Chinese food place. I hook everyone I recommend to. Friendly staff, quick service, just enough portion. Best to go during their lunch special and get a few dollars off because its a total steal! Try it if you havent.

Best little Chinese place around, very clean, excellent taste, and wonderful service! If you want Chinese take out, go here and spend cash. Three free crab rangoons if you spend $10 (cash only), three more at $20, and a free Orange Chicken at $30.

Does not actually serve tea. Pretty misleading. Otherwise the chicken was good we had general tsos. Was mild and not spicy at all as its supposed to be slightly. Chicken quality was quite above average for Chinese, good surprise.

You will not be disappointed except by the fact that youve eaten your generous portion of food and want more! $5 for lunch, $8 to $10 for dinner. Its so good! My Chinese friends think it is great too and that is saying something!

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Grand Rapids. The lady that takes orders knows most of her customers by name. The food tasted GREAT and the portions are big.

Awesome food, If you order extra chicken(or meat) you get a very well sized meal for not that expensive. One of the best Chinese restaurants Ive been to!

Great food, if your not a whale then the portion size is perfect! If you like spice then order the Bang Bang chicken. Lunch specials are a great price.

Service was prompt. Takeout was bland and soggy. Portions were smaller than expected given the price. Disappointing. Would not try again.

Eh. It was okay. The crab cheese rangoons were oddly shaped and too sweet. The beef lo mein was just okay. I probably wont go here again.
