Without a doubt the best Indian food I have ever had. The restaurant is impeccably clean for starters. Everything was better than I could have imagined. Let me just say this, the garlic Naan, with a little tomato sauce and some Parmesan cheese, would probably be the best pizza in the world, but it is equally delicious the way it came. The 65 chicken appetizer is the way chicken should be: Spicy, just the right crunch, and delicious. The spinach dish Palak Panner, was enough for two, and not too bland, but just spicy enough. The vegetarian samosas with mint chutney were hot, filling, and loaded with fresh vegetables. The mango lassi was served in a tall interesting shaped glass, and I could have polished off a few more, it was that good. I almost dont want to post this because this gem is hard to share with strangers, but a great, clean, delicious Indian restaurant deserves to thrive. I will be back for the buffet tomm. In the meantime I will be anticipating culinary nirvana. Nimaste.

I just visited this restaurant last night, and had a lovely experience. First off, when you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a friendly staff and pleasant ambiance. Normally in Indian restaurants, the ambiance is not the highlight of the restaurant. At Tandoors, there is a nice, pleasant atmosphere with light jazz music playing in the background. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Ruban, the restaurant owner, is on top of things completely. He came over to the table and strongly recommended the Tikka Masala. The paneer tikka masala is exceptional. Our party was given 3 mango lassis on the house with an additional large (ordered) lassi on the house as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We went for buffet on Saturday afternoon. There were Sambar , Samosa, 2 veg ( palak paneer, methi corn)and 2 non-veg subji , 2 desert (Rasmalai and sooji ka halwa) , veg biryani , non veg biryani , hakka noodles , gobi manshurian and couple of other things. After long time I drank Rasna here. loved it. They gave chat and naan on table complimentary. I loved the food here. It was not oily or very spicy. As indian , I love spices so it was mild for me but the taste was good. Methi corn subji was extraordinarily tasty. Food tasted very fresh and not from yesterdays frozen stuff. Service was good and place was not crowded much but decent number of people. I am definitely going there again.

I ordered takeout from here this evening. I got the chicken tikka masala. It was just okay. The sauce was good, but the chicken was sparse and had a terrible, tough texture. I got 5 "cubes" in my entire meal. Either way, I removed them due to the texture and ended up just eating the rice and sauce. Unfortunately they give you a very small amount of rice. Not sure if you get more when dining in, but certainly not worth the cost. Drive the few extra feet to the orchard & 12 mile plaza. Theres a decent Indian place there. Side note, the takeout was packaged well, and the gentlemen that checked me out was very nice.

The best indian food in farmington and novi area. The taste and quality of food has always been consistent. Never have i seen a difference in taste or quality with the dishes I order every time. The waiters are very friendly and professional. Restaurant is clean. Anybody wanting to have some really good indian food, this is the place. Absolutely love it. Never have been disappointed. Tandoors team, thank you for serving great food every time. Keep up the great job!

This restaurant is overpriced for the quality. I was surprised they charged extra for the naan, which should have come with the $12 entree I ordered. The naan cost $2.50, and it was okay, but not nearly as delicious as naan Ive had in other restaurants. We ordered an appetizer of samosas, which were $3.50 for 2 of them, and they were small considering the price. The entree itself was alright. I wouldnt eat here again.

I wish if there could be an option to not even rate single star. Food is below average and service is even bad for the prices being charged. Mango lassi wasnt fresh . we ordered masala dosa which is not up to mark and for sambar at an extra price. it is ridiculous . I doubt even on the freshness of food served. Strongly dont recommend this restaurant if you care for your body and taste buds

Very Fresh and Tasty. The absolute best indian restaurant I have been to thus far. 5 star qaulity buffet lunch with top notch service. Our waiter G was extremely attentative and answered all our questions. In addition to the quality food and service their meats are halal. We live in Dearborn and have no problem driving the distance for fresh tasty food like this.

This place is almost always empty, and I can tell you why. I had the same experience here as I did at Saffron down the street. The chicken doesnt appear to be normal...it tastes odd and immediately made me sick as I started eating it (it tastes processed and flat out rotten). Please start using fresh poultry and meat!

Below items need to be improved: 1. Quality of rice: It was not good cooked 2. Menu selection is less 3. Sweet selection and quality is less, the savai kheer taste like a medicine. :( But Nans were awesome and one of the best quality that I have tasted so far. Overall improvement needed.

the currys were not good and the naans are like dry chappals. The worst food that i never tasted before. The biryani and tandoori chicken tastes like a bag of trash. My stomach got upset on the day when i had the food in tandoors. who the bloody hell was the chef .!!

A very good buffet selection. Taste was good and the spice level was mild. Liked it very much. Would definitely recommend. It is not expensive either for the available variety in buffet selection. Also they had the aloo chat for lunch which was pretty awesome!

Went for the buffet on a Sunday. We went there because of all the positive reviews but were totally disappointed. Most of the food was cold. Also the desserts were no good - they could not even get the basic gulam jamun right (looked good though).

I have been to most of Indian restaurants nearby but this restaurant has some unique taste. I felt like I was eating in India. I would say the best food I have ever ate in Michigan. Paneer Tikka and Tandoors Wings heart shaped, sounds yummy....

I really didt like quality and taste of food. There are so many others good Indian restaurant in Farmington Hills. I have visited two times in this restaurant, first time food was average and 2nd time it was below average.

First time here today, extremely good. I did their lunch buffet since I was in a rush but they had a huge variety. Lassi was exceptional, as were dosas and chutney. Definitely stop by!
