We order from the Lapeer location several times for 4 people minimum on a regular basis. Today, we ordered two of the same items, one we asked to have several items left off. When we picked up the order the sandwich that we had asked to have several items removed, had only one removed. We called and asked to have it remade. No problem...the waitress did ask for us to return the sandwich. A few minutes later we got a call back asking for us to return the incorrect item PLUS the correct item because the cook wanted to make sure we werent "lying" and he did it correct. Now why did the sandwich we had no issues with had to be returned to be verified???? Not to mention, by the time we brought it back and forth it would be cold??? Absolute WORST customer service. I will never be eating there again. Besides, Woodchips has much better burgers. Supporting local is very important to us, but this experience has definitely eliminated this restaurant as one of our options.

My husband and I have eaten here a few times now and I have taken a co-worker here as well. The food and service are GREAT!!! We have tried a few different appetizers, burgers and sandwichs without any issues!! Kinda sucks that they do not have any beer on draft but they do have a lot to choose from anyways. The manager however, tonight and the last time I was here with my husband stands at the bar texting on his phone. The two times I have seen this guy he NEVER said hello to anyone dining nor did he say anything to people that were standing right next to him waiting for a table. I prefer managers that dont feel like they are above customer service!! I will go back but I personally think he is rude!! This is a service industry serve the people that are paying your salary. Is it really that hard?

I have tried this place 3 times. First time, left after standing there 14 minutes without being spoken to. Second, got seated quickly. SERVICE was slow. I was expecting an outstanding burger based on other reviews, and friends recommendations. It was average. Third time, same slow and average service. Tried a different type of burger. Still not impressed!! The burgers are much better at the old style A&W in Ortonville. I even prefer an Applebees burger over here. And the service is better and its not cramped and loud like here. Most of my reviews are positive, I only leave negative feedback if warranted. This is not a bad eatery, there are just many more favorable options in my opinion. IMO

My family moved to this area recently and we were exploring and trying to get to know the area when we happened upon this restaurant around lunch time and decided to try it. The atmosphere was great and the service was friendly and efficient. The burgers were good. I would most definitely go back. My daughter didnt love the chicken strips because they were rather peppery but shes only two. The only con would be that I thought the kids menu was a little pricey, but overall I loved it. We will go back.

My wife and I eat here occasionally. Weve never been disappointed with the burgers which is why we go there. My wife likes hers with a touch of a pink in the middle and they get it right every time. I like mine well done and its never dry. In last month weve gone to 2 other non-fast food restaurants (one chain, other locally owned) and have sent our burgers back to kitchen since they were cooked incorrectly. And they have great buns too.

Awesome Burger. I felt like Marshal from How I Met Your Mother when he found that burger joint that he had spent all that time looking for. I ordered it to be cooked Medium well. They couldnt have done a better job; the burger wasnt pink but was still super juicy and the tots were pretty good too. If you want a burger and dont have a joint to go to, this is the place to go.

It was so-so. My husband liked his burger. I had a Cobb salad. The bacon was super greasy and inedible. The chicken was dry and had a strange taste, couldnt eat that either. The lettuce was fresh and crisp. Overall a very dull salad. I really didnt like the feel of being shoehorned into the table space. I really have no desire to go back.

Food was excellent. However, for the specials on Thursday, they now changed where you can only get the regular fries and not the waffle fries or tator tots. If you want the waffle fries, you have to pay the normal price. Really? How much more does it cost them to serve the waffle fries. Corporate made this decision. Bad decision.

Whoa, didnt expect this kind of treat as we passed through Lapeer, MI. I had a Reuben, my friends has chicken tenders and hamburg sliders. The Reuben was AMAZING. The corn beef was perfect, the rye bread was subtle and delish. Washed down with a Detroit Red ale made for a perfect meal. Thanks to Paul, our server, for friendly service.

Had a school fund raiser card for 10 % off and the manager would only honor it for one of our burgers, and it took 10 minuets for them to figure that out. I f they dont like honoring the discount, they shouldnt contract with the fundraiser. Other than that food was pretty good ,and the server was friendly

Went here to eat lunch with some co-workers...we requested to sit at a table for 6 when we had 4 because we needed the extra room, The guy behind the bar kept arguing because "it was reserved for parties of 5 or more"....There was only 2 other people currently there......I recommend going elsewhere!!!

Basically a bar with okay burgers, they do have a ginormous burger that if you finish your picture will get hung on the wall of fame (shame). I wouldnt go out of my way to eat there again though. Waitstaff was awesome and the pictures of old detroit were awesome to look at

Prices are high for a burger joint service was slow burgers looked good on presentation but the small bun and no flavor on the burger itself seemed to bring the burger down from what it could of been. For the price I expected a little bit more out of the food and service

Stopped in to have a small bite to eat. The kitchen fryer was too hot. Overcooked the food and had to send back ....second time was no better lol It was fun seeing all the crazy drunk and rowdy guys hollerin n hootin while I was there at 1pm lmao

The best bloody Mary definitely on this side of the state, the bartender is an artist and infused your choice of wood smoke into you extremely well thought out bloody Mary, and the food... another level above this place is!!

Burger was good. Bit of a wait because the place is small. Would have done a 4 star but ordered burger medium but cooked well done. Beer was not cold and they charged me for extra bbq sauce. Good service though!

So pretentious. Gimmicky garbage. Cooks have no clue what the hell they are doing. No chef to speak of. Where is their burger meat from? Not pasture raised. Gross fries, not hand cut. Come in frozen. Avoid! Avoid!
