Been here several times, most experiences have been good, the food is always topnotch - but was surprised to learn when you pay cash, the server keeps your coin/change if its under 50 cents. I dont have an issue with the money, my bill was $44.52. I gave Nicolette a $100 bill and was surprised to get $55 back...not $55.42. My original intention was to leave her a $12 tip, but I was irritated by the lack of receiving all my change, so I left her $7 (still over 15%, but a crappy tip from me). I ran into someone I knew on the way out and we got to chatting, so my wife went back inside and asked Nicolette about this. She informed my wife that its Peterlins policy. Its not the money, but the principal of the thing. How in the world did they decided they are entitled to that 48 cents? As mentioned, I have been here several times, I live a mile from there. I will not be back.

I am giving this restaurant 2stars only because our server Casey was very nice and the appetizers were decent. Our server was attentive and did a great job. The wing appetizer and the spinach & artichoke appetizer were good but our meals were not. There were 5 of us in all and I dont think any of us enjoyed our meal. My husband got the patty melt. Bread was not toasted or grilled. It was soft and soggy with with grease. My daughter had the chicken carbonara. Chicken was chewy/rubbery. My mom had the herb roasted chicken. It was very very tough. I had the pork chops with zip sauce. zip was melted butter with some maggies added for flavor. Pork chops were cooked ok. Garlic mashed were over seasoned. We will not be returning.

The ownership and staff are all extremely friendly and competent. I never sit with an empty glass (my worst fear) without prompt refilling. They have a great selection of beers for times when Im feeling like drinking something nice and they also have good deals on domestic beers for times when Im feeling like drinking on the cheap. Ive only eaten there a few times, but the food was fantastic (the cuban sandwich comes to mind). My only wish is that they were open on Sundays, especially during NFL season. Wishing they were open more, however, isnt something I can reduce their rating for in good faith.

Was our little secret but the secrets out! Excellent food every time with a great beer & wine selection. Wonderful atmosphere with a fantastic wait staff. Reasonable prices for chefs menu dining. Whether you want a soup and salad or a full dinner the food is comparable with any fine dining restaurant around and I would put Zach up against the best! Definitely an experience you dont want to miss. Guaranteed you wont be disappointed!

A great place to relax and enjoy a drink and excellent food. Great selection of draft beer. I look forward to enjoying the mushroom soup when its available...its a must have! The owners are very in tune to the wants and needs of their clientele and do an excellent job of making their guests feel at home. I love trying the new items on the daily specials sheet, but the standard menu has several tasty options as well.

This is definitely a "local" spot. Nothing fancy, a bit loud, but a good value. The drinks are inexpensive and generous, the waitstaff is friendly and our server was extremely accommodating of my special dietary requirements. The mushroom soup was surprisingly good. I wish they had a few more vegetable side options as opposed to all the starchy stuff. Tara took great care of us. Well be back!

We realized after getting back home that although the waitress had informed us that I was ordering a meal with a free beer, they charged the full price for the beer. The food wasnt even that great either, not for the price. 2 meals (no appetizers, no sides) and 2 beers for $36... thats pretty high

Amazing food, comfortable, posh environment with reasonable prices, keno, full bar, and kind staff. Not that big, but Happys Pizza next door closed so I hope they expand. Add some nightly entertainment (djs & acoustic guitar singers) this place could be the next hot spot. Cheers!

Service was slow, restaurant was dirty (with multiple employees walking by trash on the floor and not picking it up), and food was just okay. Southwest chicken egg rolls were the best part. Menu was unimpressive, the same exact things you find on every bar menu. We wont be back.

I ate at this restaurant a few days ago. The staff is friendly and professional. The food was excellent. I ordered a steak dinner with mash potatoes and green beans. The zip sauce was sooo good. I cant wait to go back. LOL. Love this place.

I stopped in after work for a lite meal and to decompress. The place was filled as usual, yet the service left nobody wanting. I ordered one of their hearty soups and enjoyed every spoon full. I wholly recommend going to Peterlins.

The food and staff are excellent every time. I have lunch and/or dinner here at least 5 times a week and am never disappointed. I also recommend it to anyone looking for a meal while in the area, knowing they will not be disappointed.

I felt compelled to write about their Cajun Chicken Pasta dish. It is amazing! Best Ive had. The waitress recommended and I will get it again. Nice neighborhood restaurant as well right at the corner of 9 Mile Rd. and Farmington.

No relation to owner, just a good meal fair price w/ attentive staff, recommend the Carbonara, potato and steak soup, usually the resse desert they were out. Family dinner side and bar/live entertainment side is a smart layout.

In a world where so many restaurants are subpar on any number of levels, Peterlins is exceptional on all. Food, service, ambiance, music - everything is extraordinary. Eat here, bring everyone you know, and do so often.

Top notch food every time we come. I love how frequently they change their specials so there is always something new to try. My husband loves the craft brew variety on tap. Our favorite restaurant in Farmington!

Great food and quick service. I went on a night that they were hosting a charity event, the place was packed and we still received our food quickly and had excellent service. Cant wait to go back!

Food is outstanding with great flavor, you can pick anything on the menu and I guarantee you will love it. The wait staff are very polite, as well as the gentleman that bring out the food.

Traverse City pork chops were amazing. The cider reduction and cherry glaze is fantastic. What a wonderful dish. Seasoned well and not dried out like some restaurants like to do to pork.
