Where to begin? Well, its terrible. I guess that would be a good place. The place smells of stale beer and looks like it is coming from every surface. The only reason anyone would go here is if it was the only place to go. It no longer is. I am assuming this place used to be nice once upon a time. They are overconfident on what was apparently a successful operation. Whatever care and consideration there was in the past is gone if it was ever there in the first place. The taps are all filthy and the beer coming from them is completely tainted. My GF was given a sample of beer in a small a glass with lip gloss on it. She said, this beer is kind of sweet, and responded with, it shouldnt be. I then notices the lip gloss. DISGUSTING AND UNFORGIVABLE. You job as a bartender is also to clean glasses and insure you are not getting people sick. We then with much anxiety ate our food. It was very underwhelming. When your flagship "fish and chips" is soggy and just gross. YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. The manager seemed to busy hitting on the wait staff to notice all the problems. I dont know who goes to this place, and I am not sure why. If you see people in there, they are in for a horrible night. Do yourself a favor. Look across the street. You are at least ensured clean beer and glassware. Seriously ol bag of whatever....sack up and just cut the crap. You are failing the basics.

Old Bag is my 2nd fave restaurant in Marysville, but after last night, I dont know if we will ever go back, I have always loved the Chicken Nachos, not so much last night! When the arrived, we werent given any plates,ok, I guess thats ok, lets eat....Well 3 bites in I get the taste of fish( I hate fish), we look through the nachos, dont see anything and continue to eat, few bites later, more fish...My husband starts to dig and finds two more chunks of fish..Ewww!!, We told the waiter ( we normally dont complain, ever!)...The manager comes over, takes the nachos, goes back to talk to the kitchen, comes out with our main course...My husbands chicken fingers were WAY over done and his beloved onion rings were battered with a different batter and it had chunks and I mean chunks of doughy gunk all over them,( he didnt even eat them!) Needless to say, we never saw the manager again after the nacho issue to point these flaws out....My meal though was very good! Thank God!, But unfortunately, the fish in my nachos have ruined this establishment for me.....Very disappointed

Currently very poorly managed which is sad because they have great food and location. As many others reviewed wait time to sit and for food is ridiculous even if nobody is ahead of you. Atmosphere becomes glum and several people got up and left after waiting with no server. Bar customers asked bar tender (manager?) reason for slowness and his response was he hires kids who want the money but dont want to do the job. He is a few feet from the door and doesnt let you know there is a wait or even say hi to the customers that come in, stand there, then leave. Hope he can get training on how to run a restaurant because they are going downhill fast!

Food is wonderful. The waitstaff is great. Management has setup waitstaff to fail. They had no nachos or pickles for the first nice Saturday night of the year. We waited 90 minutes for our food. We had 3 kids in our party so you know how wonderful that was. This is a good restaurant but their service is always terrible. The wait staff is always over booked so this seems like a management issue. Patio is top notch but it is not staffed on first nice day of spring. I would love to come here more bUT I dont have 3 hours to sit and wait for food when I have two young kids.

Tonight I felt like I was on an episode of Impractical Jokers between the foul-ups and slowness in the kitchen and the so-bad-it-was-funny goof-ups at the bar. Like at any moment Sal was going to jump out and say "haaaaaaahaha we got you!!". Either this was a masterfully coordinated practical joke or this place is completely bonkers. Suffice to say that from the moment we sat down to the moment we left (2 hours later) the food, long waiting, drinks, bill were all bad bad bad. At least our server Lindsay was pleasant and apologetic...not her fault.

Atmosphere is typical pub-style. Ive visited twice and both times the food was bland and uninspired. Presentations are dull and the execution on dishes pedestrian. A good spot to have a beer with friends and maybe a snack. Not a good spot for a date, family gathering, or if trying to impress a client. Service staff couldnt care less if we were pleased or peeved. Seems like the the inmates are running the asylum. I will keep going because the atmosphere is still good enough for game-day and the bar is not bad. Otherwise, skip it.

Very very very slow... I came here on wed 8/13/2014 @ 715 and ordered the special of all u can eat shrimp and chips it is now 805 and still waiting. I asked the waitress what the holdup is and she said they are "backed up" not good enough for me... If food is not here in the next 5 min I am going to pull my drink tab and leave. *update* Got my food moments after posting this. Waitress was super nice but the wait for everyone seemed crazy long. I prob would go back but be prepared to no do much the rest of the night.

Service is chaotic. Happened 2 x. They rush to ask you what you want to drink, then run off for 15-20 minutes before letting you know the keg is out.. Then another 10 minutes to get the reorder. The burger I ordered medium rare was well done and had way too much seasoning in it. I couldnt even tell it was a burger. Took 45 minutes for the food after the debacle with the beer. Marysville needs better management...they had plenty of waitstaff..

The venue is way to small so expect to wait. While the food is pretty good but it cant make up for the wait. It would also appear the kitchen needs an upgrade as once we finally got seated it took forever to get the food. If you go here and there is ANYONE waiting you should turn around and leave. Many places that would provide a better experience in Marysville.

Amazing food. Pretty decent beer selection. Mussels + shrimp are awesome. GET THE BREAD PUDDING. Prices are decent but outstanding if you go for happy hour. PS the patio is great but it is smoking. Honestly, I cant stand smoking in public and it was very tolerable. Not many people out there who were smoking but definitely manageable.

Great food, large portions, good price. Atmosphere was welcoming, not too cold, not too warm. The staff was a little short handed but doing their best. The wait time was a little long because of this but not too excessive. We will be making more visits here in the future! Again, the food was amazing so well worth it!
