Friday night at the Woodbridge Pub consisted of pretty good food. Major drawback: the waitress from hell who was not friendly, not efficient, and not a fan of people of color. First, she refused to serve our friend a drink because her ID had expired the day before (on her 37th! birthday). Interestingly, while she harassed my Asian friend about her ID, she did not even ASK my white male friend (age 30) for proof that he was over 21 when he ordered his beer. I asked for water multiple times--a request she never replied to. I was finally forced to go to the bar and get it myself. My husband tried to order and she somehow walked away without hearing him. And then, after being generally unpleasant and inattentive all night, she very snottily came over and said that many customers had complained about how noisy we were and basically asked us to shut up (the fact that there were ten of us, at a PUB, on a Friday night didnt seem to matter to her). As my mother always said: its not what you say, its how you say it and she did not say this pleasantly at all. Was it coincidence that this not so friendly waitress directed her disdain at us--the only table of people of color in the entire place (a trend at Woodbridge in my experience...)? Im not sure, but I wouldnt go back. The biggest irony--because there were more than 6 of us she got a fat, pre-included tip---I guess hosting big parties of Black, Asian and Latino folks means you dont have to be nice. Note to Woodbridge Pub: if you want to be a silent, upscale restaurant that caters to elderly white folks and harasses Asian and Black folks maybe you shouldnt call yourself a PUB....just a thought.

Woodbridge Pub really is a gem for the Woodbridge neighborhood. With great drink specials and an amazing menu Ive quickly become a regular. The waitstaff is very attentive and friendly, the service is top-notch. I also highly recommend the newly redone brunch menu, the salmon eggs benedict and bottomless mimosas are incredible. As for the regular menu they constantly keep it switching up with a new homemade soup every day and the BBQ burger is probably the best burger Ive ever had.

The food is mediocre, the service is AWFUL. Took my g/f out to have dinner last night. We ordered an appetizer, a burger and an entree. Waited for 40+ minutes for food to arrive with ZERO CONTACT from server. The server never refilled our drinks, never refilled my coffee, never checked in to see how we were doing, cleared plates away from the table only after we stacked them together and in general just utterly failed in every service capacity imaginable. I will not eat here again.

C. Thanks.
Brought our dog. Waitress brought him water and did a very good job serving us. The food was above my expectations! And its beautiful side! Clean beautiful bathrooms. What more can you ask for?! Plus the bill for 2 sandwiches was only $17.49 French dip and corned beef can be expensive but this is very very reasonable! Definitely coming back, you should try it too. Going to be thinking this sandwich the rest of the day.

I just tried to visit this establishment before 12 a.m and the bartender or whatever his position was and he told my friends and I that they were closing. According to Google Maps they stay open until 2 a.m. When we told him that he could give us no reason as to why they were closing. I want to know why the doors werent locked and why people were sitting at the bar. There goes me trying to try something different.

I was there on Sunday night and the food was great and the service was great but we could hardly talk to each other - the music was way too loud. I told the waitress and she said that the bartender controlled the music. We were a party of eight and could not even talk to the person next to us much less at the end of the table....they need to decide if they are a bar or a resturant....!

A great place for burgers and chips (no fries) and theyve always got something good on tap. Im not sure what they do to their mayo, but its delicious and youll want more of it, I promise. Really laid back vibe and on Fridays, you can snag a full bottle of wine for ten bucks. Not a bad deal! Good place to go with a buddy or for a low-key dinner, but not a date night spot.

Great service, and delightfully list of best of beers are there to choose from the menu. Rahbi was serving us and he was so nice to explain about all available beer types and was so patient with us while we were taking lot of time in deciding what to order. Good price, great location right at exit from I94 freeway. Option to sit outside was so pleasant too.

Woodbridge pub is a great place to relax after work, or to grab a low-key, but delicious dinner (try the grass-fed burger!). They have a wide variety of beers on tap that change regularly and are mostly local. The staff is super friendly. I especially love that they have $10 bottles of wine on Friday and Saturday evenings. Also, taco tuesday is the best!

We used to come here regularly for the Wednesday night pub quiz from 8-10pm. My favorite dinner item is the steak salad and the white bean dip with tortilla chips. You get $1 draft on Wed as well. If you order the vegan banh mi or other sandwiches, know that you wont get fries but chips instead.

They allow dogs in the patio! Also, the food is amazing. Their vegan and vegetarian items are marked out uniquely. The beer selection is really nice too. Samples are 50 cents each, BTW. I tried the Jalapeno Popper Burger and it was delicious! The entrees are on the expensive side.

I ordered a drink here and the guy stood directly in front of me and waited for minutes until I paid him. Very rude. Seem to be a nice place for whites. I did notice no one white was treated like this. I just left. If your a minority spend your money some where more deserving.

I moved to Detroit only recently and my neighbor took me here last night. I enjoyed it. The waitstaff was very attentive and the drinks were pretty resonable. The crowd seemed pretty cool, with lots of people around my age (24). Ill definately be back!

I live in midtown, this is my go to chill spot for good vibes and better food. Also, as someone who suffers from celiacs, Woodbridge pub is very accommodating. The selection of gluten free food is relatively large, and all very tasty. 5 stars.

The best thing about Woodbridge is the decor and the beer. However the food is not delicious, not prompt and not enough. Also, they have the distinction of being one of the few restaurants that run out of standard menu items, such as burgers.

Small and not very good menu. Mostly filled with college kids parents who are in visiting. Not great waitstaff, but fine. Everyone who eats thier kinda feels like a jerk. However its the only restaurant in Woodbridge... So Ill be going back.
