First off let me say that I have been going to mamas off on on for a year now. They have one of the most delicious breakfast food in town. I had one bad experience with them this past Friday that I would like to share. I sat at the counter in plain view of the chefs cooking the food. I ordered bacon and sausage links with my meal. When my order came up I noticed that my sausage were missing. Shortly after I notice another cook walk up to the cook preparing my food and hand him my sausages. The other cook proceeds to rinse my sausages off and just put them on my plate straight from the faucet.The only question that came to mind is why did he just rinse my sausages off? So I asked the waitress why he would do such and thing and she couldnt answer. I asked her to ask the chef for me. He comes up to me and says that those were not my sausages. The ones he rinsed off he put them in the container with the other sausages and gave me fresh sausages. Mind you I witnessed him do this with my own eyes. I was disgusted at that point. Why lie to your customers? Why rinse off sausages? He couldnt answer my question. The waitress asked if I wanted some new sausages I declined. To top it off my food wasnt even hot. Just to be a good sport I ate and paid for my meal and left. I thought this business was awesome until that one experience. It showed lack of character and a lack of care for your patrons. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anybody after seeing that.

Seeing how this isnt too far away I thought Id give it a try. Not good at all. Service was rude, with little attention after ordering. Heck, I had to track down my bill. The food was alright, but the wait staff was so dismal the food couldnt save the review. If you are in this area and looking for a bite to eat hit the Gulf station a bit east of Mamas Restaurant where the clerks smile and the food is name brand in a can.

Great food, great people, great service. Fast, clean, oh and umm... GREAT food. Seriously I cant stress it enough, the food is delicious. Its nowhere near anything I drive to but Ill gladly go out of my way.

This is the place the waitresses are nice (looks and manners) and the food is really good. They close a little to early for my liking (before I get off work), so I have only eaten breakfast here.
