I don’t write a lot of reviews due to lack of time. I’m a full time dentist in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with ten employees. This experience warrants a full review. This was the worst experience in my entire restaurant endeavors. We were a party of 15 who booked an advanced reservation for a private room for our annual Christmas party. When we arrived there, there was no private room, just a long table set up in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Brewery(I hate to use that name). The whole party was served by a disingenuous, un pleasant, impolite and boorish waitress. She took everyone’s order except mine. Five to ten minutes later she walks by and I had to yell to grab her attention. My order came out last, fifteen minutes after the last order on that table, missing the side. Just before we left, the asparagus arrive, but only after taking a tour around the whole restaurant in the hands of our mystical waitress with every known strain of ecoli. To be fair, the food was the only acceptable part in the whole evening, but was it worth it?

LOVE THE BREWERY! I went to the Brewery on Valentines Day and the restaurant was packed. Our waitress was Nicole. She was helpful when I asked questions, attentive and made sure everything arrived in a timely manner. Every time we finished with a plate, there was always someone there assisting and making sure our table was cleared. We sat by the beautiful fireplace in the romantic lit setting, which was great for Valentines Day! The service was fast and the food was beyond our expectations. We had the Cajun Blackened Tenderloin as an appetizer and I had the Grilled Romaine before my Broiled Salmon served in Miso soup. The quality of the food and service absolutely exceptional!! I even requested to pull the owner aside to tell him how wonderful our experience was. I HIGHLY recommend dining at The Brewery for any occasion. This restaurant is our local favorite!

My 2 friends and I go out to a nice dinner about once a month. This time was my turn to pick the place and I chose the Brewery. I was disappointed. We had a 5 pm reservation and there were very few customers. We were seated at a 4-top table which runs down the middle of the restaurant. We asked for a booth and were told by a condescending hostess that they were all taken. Fine, maybe that was true. We had a very nice server but she wasnt very thorough in explaining the specials. We didnt realize this until we heard another server telling the table next to us. The twice baked potato casserole tasted more like a bacon casserole. Not good at all. The whole experience reminded me of one of those restaurants that treat only the regulars with respect and turn their nose up to everyone else. It just wasnt good enough to return.

My family went to the Brewery for Mothers day. We ordered a very expensive meal. Lobster tail and New York Strips. We were very disappointed in the offerings of the menu and the sides that consisted of mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. Paying 33.00 for a meal should at least give me a choice of a more difficult side then mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. Poor choice of offerings in my opinion, considering I have worked in restaurants at the same level as theirs and had the option to pay for their very more expensive sides. I felt very insulted by the Brewery and have dined their for over 20 years. I guess money trumped my dining experience! To add A/c went on to rid the restaurant of its guest because it became very cold as closing time approached.

We were traveling in the area and I was trying to find the best upscale new American restaurant around, which based on Google and Yelp appeared to be Brewery. It was a disappointment. The most expensive thing on the menu, the rib eye steak, was mediocre. The sea scallops were rubbery and served over a grossly creamy corn risotto. At least the bread was good. The service was very good, but that was not enough to redeem the mediocre food. Two nights later we went to a nearby Outback Steakhouse, which is not normally my kind of place, but honestly every single thing we ate at Outback was better than Brewery.

Do not go here if you are under 40. I went with my boyfriend thinking it was an actual brewery and not an old stuffy restaurant. When we sat at the bar we were asked in a very condescending tone if we were old enough to sit there. A very rude way to ask for id. Apparently your money isnt good enough if youre in your 20s. The bartender then asked if we had thought that this was an actual brewery. Yea our mistake that a resturant called the Brewery would mostly sell wine and have nothing to do with being a brewery. Overall terrible experience, snobby staff and will not be going back.

Wow! Such amazing food, drinks and hospitality. I took my staff for our holiday dinner and we had such a great time. The food, service and ambiance was incredible. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. The steaks were mouth watering. The Brewery is a definite 5 star!! Thank you so much

Good food but we were not prepared for the price and the environment. Dress nice when you come in and be ready to spend some money (which you will want to because they have lots of good stuff). We will be returning for a nice romantic date or to impress others.

Been going there since early 1980s and never have we gad bad meal or bad service. This is one of the best restaurants in the area. Started going there with my parents, and continue to go there with my girlfriend as often as we can.

Staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was great. Staff was a little slow and disorganized when it came to getting us situated at the table however the waitress was clearly training someone so it wasnt a big deal.
