Disappointed with the rudeness of the cashier. We were pleased with our purchases in the past and never had a problem. Unfortunately, my son thought the pastry was disgusting and we kindly asked an exchange. He said the chocolate didnt taste right. After being rude to me and belittling my son he agreed to exchange it for another cookie. Way to go trying to make an 8 year old cry. Good grief. I told my son what the "man at the cash register said was that he values your business and appreciates you as a customer."

As a kid, I remember getting so excited when my dad came home with a large white bag of La Gloria Cookies... 30 years later, I get to see the same excitement on my own kids face when I walk in with a big bag of treats. Dont let the outside appearance fool you, this place is a top notch bakery. Cookies, cakes, churros, donuts, sweet breads, theyve got it all. In 30 years, Ive never been disappointed. The best and most unique backery youll ever vist. Old wooden doors with large panes of glass run the length of the store to chose dozen of fresh treats from. You enter the ad pick up a plastic tray and cover it with a wax paper and chose your metal tongs, the continue down the wall for that massive selection of goodies. This place is a must visit on your trip to the Mexican town area.
