I ordered a cornbeef sandwich PLAIN and they put mustard on my sandwich. I called them just to tell them about it their mistake and I spoke with a calm voice to the girl who answered. The black girl (the black girl who always takes the orders at the counter) was very rude, very ignorant and was no help at all. She told me to bring it back so they can be sure. I told her I walked up there and I wasnt going to walk back. Then she said "well what do you want me to do about it". Now, usually I drive up there but my car was in the shop and its not that far of a walk. What the girl should of did was took my name and ask me to bring it up another day. That would of been the most professional thing to do.HOWEVER, she proceeded to hang up on me while I was talking to her on the phone. I called back and asked to speak to the manager and she told me they wasnt there. Then, I asked to talk to the next person in charge and she told me "They just going to tell you the same thing and the lady dont speak English that good". This is too much drama over something they messed up. Ill just give the cornbeef to my brother. I have ordered plenty of food from this place for the past 2 years but I will never order food from them again after this. Totally unprofessional!!! Ill find another Coney Island. Also, I hope the owner reads this and teaches his rude employees proper customer service because if he doesnt hell be losing even more business. NOTE: this happened SUNDAY, MARCH 17, 2013 at 3:30pm

I use to go there for years but they now have new owners and its terrible. its obvious this person is cashing in on the gentrification of the area because they obviously dont know their customers. they raised the prices and reduced the portion size. that would be fine if the food actually tasted like anything. In Detroit we prefer seasoned food. everyone who lives nearby has stopped going. there are too many coney islands in Detroit for this one to be this bad. i can just drive 1 or 2 miles in any direction and find cheaper, more plentiful food that actually taste good

Yesterday I recieved MOLD with my meal. I actually consumed some because I didnt see it right away. Needless to say I will not be returning.
