I had actually stopped going here for breakfast due to them getting rid of their real chicken and replacing it with boneless chicken pieces, which was more like over cooked chicken skin. To my surprise they had actual chicken on the breakfast buffet. Now this is important because they also have have waffles which used to be decent waffles but today they were so so. So this is a great opportunity to get chicken and waffles for a decent price. But today even though the chicken was there, which is a plus other things were not on par, such as the biscuits were hard and the waffles were not as crispy as they usually are. But once again this is a buffet and you get what you pay for the eggs however were good as long as you got eggs to order and not eggs off the bar. They also need to set up an area to wear brown sugar, honey ,raisins and other condiments that go with oatmeal and grits and eggs are sitting together instead of having to track down a server and ask them for them. Overall it was okay the saving grace was the grits, meat selections, chicken and waffles and eggs to order

My husband and I only go when there are coupons as its too expensive without them ... You need to pay more attention to the food ... appearance and quality are everything ... there are so many restaurants in the area competing for our dollars ... the food should be attended too more often ... no one wants items when there is a dab in the pan that looks dried up ... a huge problem for us is the LACK of well done steak .... There are people who do not think a piece of steak should be red or pink inside ... you may think its overdone but we think its good ... I also think the price of drinks is HORRIBLE ... I can get a 2 liter of pop for $1 ... $5 for two drinks is insane!!!! ... On the plus side, things that we think taste really good ...... bourbon chicken, taco bar especially the pico de gallo is amazing, cucumbers in vinegar, ham, southern green beans, fried chicken when its hot and fresh I truly hope you are going to listen to your patrons

The service has always been great the crew is awesome. The food is not always hot, chicken is crispy and most of the sides are good. We can tell that the quality has gone down and seams like cheaper chooses of meat. While prices go up and up. A soft drink cost $2.19 as I have previously worked for a soft drink company I know it does not cost that much for fountain drinks. We feel that the beverages should be included in price dont raise the price but include the beverage. The ice cream is the worst tasting ever almost like ice milk. We usually go to Golden Corral but try to give Old County Buffet a chance to improve. Almost 5 years ago it was a great place to eat but not so much now. The CEO wanted honest review!

I love the food especially the ham and potatoes but one thing I use to get all the time and that was the lemon cake. They dont have it any more instead they have the same cakes every time I go. I want the lemon cake back!!!. Plus their carry out boxes are too high if this is the same company as Fire Mountain their carry out boxes are only $2.99 if you buy a regular dinner you can get a carry out to eat later,,now that would bring more people to Old a Country Buffet.And those coupons arent any good because youll still sending a lot because you have to get drinks with the coupon. I know everything goes up in time but come on people lower your prices some so more families can enjoy dinner together.

The last couple of times my husband and I have eaten there the food for the most part was very good. My favorites are the baked chicken and the mac and cheese. My complaint would be the waitresses who come to your table, very nicely, saying if we would need anything to just let her know. We generally never see them again . Also, our used dishes usually remain on our table almost throughout the entire meal. Once in a while we will get a good woman who does her job well. Besides the food, service to me is next to first place.

Every time I come here, the food quality keeps slipping and the prices keep climbing. They are a very poor example of a cost-cutting business. Dinner for one adult has jumped from about $10-11 to $13-14, and the cost for a takeout now runs around $12-13. Most everything on the buffet anymore is simply food taken fresh from a package and heated up, and is not worth the price you pay at the register. They also switched managers not so long ago, and since that time, the service and cleanliness have taken a nose dive.

I havent eaten at Old Country Buffet in a long time. The prices are still as I remember but the cleanliness of the place has gone down hill. The carpet looked filthy and the floor was very sticky. The bathrooms stalls were dirty around the corners as though it had been awhile since they were thoroughly cleaned. I was talking to my son about it and he asked what their health dept rating was, but I told him I didnt see it posted. I doubt Ill be going back.

Although my husband and I have always enjoyed Old Country Buffet, we both feel in the last year or so how things have declined in both servers as well as clean food stations. We realize that many people use each of these stations, but when there were more employees they almost always were there to keep tables cleaned and food stations both filled with hot fresh food but also keep the surrounding counters clean. We are anxious to see improvements.

I hate this place. The cross contaminated food gives me allergic reactions. And I dont mean out on the buffet, I mean in the kitchen. I asked and they told me the seafood is fried in the same oil as everything else. And surfaces are not cleaned in between preparing fish and meats. So where does that leave me? Hungry or in the hospital. I hope they close this place down so that my family will stop coming. Thats gross even if I had no allergies.

FAR too expensive and I have never left there without being excessively thirsty. I highly suspect the meals are loaded with MSG. The extra charge for a drink is a poor choice to offer and except for the chicken, which is good, the rest of the food is average. My wife and I have tried the buffet every couple of years but always leave disappointed vowing never to return. They were good about 10 years ago but changed.

Cashier was very friendly. Food area was very well maintained. Our server took 17 minutes to recognize me and my wife after we were seated. Other patrons were greeted before they were seated. This is our 3rd visit to this Old Country Buffet. It probably will be our last. Our server, Kisha never spoke to us except to welcome us to OCB. Very unprofessional attitude by our server. No, I will not be leaving a tip.

Excellent! Great choices! The salad bar is loaded with fresh veggies. The bars of hot foods, desserts and beverages offer MANY nice options. Theres something for everyone. Tables are cleared quickly. The restaurant is clean, neat and spacious. When meeting family and friends you can relax, enjoy the visit without pressure to leave to free up the table. I highly recommend OCB.
