This is the best diner type restaurant Ive ever been to. Firstly its clean, the dining area is neat, orderly and well taken care of. When you come in the wait staff is friendly and, most importantly, very quick. Every time Ive gone there the wait staff has attended to me, taken my order and returned with my food in ~15min. The food itself has been very good as well. The first time I went there I got a BLT (~$4) which actually had a satisfying amount of bacon on it which is something many places will mess up. The second time I went there I order a small Chicken Caesar Salad ($6) which was easily the best Chicken Caesar Salad I have ever ordered in a restaurant. The lettuce was all very green and fresh and broken into just the right side of pieces, the dressing was on the side by default, the chicken was well seasoned but not in such a way that it through off the flavor of the dish and it was well cooked, the Parmesan cheese was just the right amount and the salad overall was very generous in proportional for being a "small" size. Also all their salads come with a warm piece of pita bread which was delicious but would have made for an excellent Chicken Caesar Salad Gyro if youre into something like that. Overall Ive had an extremely positive experience with their facility, staff and food so I would highly recommend.

when i pay 4 food i like it cooked the way i want it. simple request of a buttered grilled pita was refused. obviously Senate Dearborn feels this is a ridiculous request. i watched cook take it out of the warmer bag, and wrap my pita in wax paper. not grilled or buttered. people should expect food to be prepared the way they want. the waitress told me (i cooked for 18 years) i was wrong. the level of customers in the restaurant will continue 2 nosedive, until they listen 2 the people who pay the bills. last time i will give this restaurant my hard earned money.

I give it 4 stars for consistency, and quality. I like breakfast, Particularly omelettes. The art of stuffed omelettes is lost now days. People mix up ingredients, ads eggs and cook it together. In my opinion, an omelette is thin egg, with stuffing insides with cheese. Senate does that well! Service is always fast, the restaurant is clean, and they have good Lemon Rice soup, available daily. This month, for their 80year Anniversary, they are offering $1 Coney dogs. Which are really good. Gyro meat is real gyro meat too. Not out of a frozen box.

Stopped in here for breakfast while in town visiting family. This is a typical coney place that doubles as a diner. The service was great on Fathers Day morning as was the food. I had the "boring" bacon and eggs with toast. Everything was cooked just right and tasted great. My niece had some stuffed french toast that looked very tasty. Im putting this on my "places to stop in the Detroit Area" list. Its in a perfect location for breakfast before going on a visit to The Henry Ford or stopping at other places in Dearborn.

I really dont know how this place passed a health inspection! Seriously watched a guy prepare my food for carry out and told manager they needed to have a talk with him. Fries put into carry out container and then patted the fries down with his BARE hand! Then he goes to throw down another batch n YEP you guessed it! BARE hand again, scooped them out of a metal pan. However, this was after he wiped the sweat or snot from his nose with same said hand! Guess that was the fries seasoning!

One of the nicer coney islands, the food is standard and good, friendly and pleasant service. I have always got my food as ordered, there might be on one occasion I got a bad hash brown and swapped thats about it. This is my regular brunch place. Have had early breakfast as well. place is always busy. Veggie Olmette - very good Chicken Caesar salad - good

Ive been going to this location since I was a kid. Never have I had a bad experience here. Waitstaff is friendly, attentive and fast. The restaurant is always clean. My food is fresh and hot every time. I come back for the chili cheese fries - theyve always been my favorite. Ill always give the Dearborn Senate my business.

I have had better food ..I do appreciate the fact that they as a coney island hand cuts their own french fries and chili dog is standard not American Coney good but good..As far as their breakfast goes it good they packed in morning but go after 2 pm it quite and clean..

I wouldnt say there is anything spectacular about the food at the Senate, but if you would like to visit a typical coney island with quick service and friendly servers, this would be a good place to choose. If you visit often enough, they will remember your order :)

The most disgusting food I ever had in my lufe...Steaming Hot in there...Waitress rude ..sweating all over the food...I will be telling everyone in Downriver area...I know everyone here...You will loose alot of business!...I guarantee....

The breakfast I got was excellent! The pancakes were fluffy, my over medium egg was cooked properly and the bacon was crispy. My waitress was nice, attentive, but didnt hover. I definitely recommend. Get there early to avoid the rush.

Terrible food ordered two beef coney dogs they both came back black the chili was cold. Other people next to us sitting had same issues with there food. Ill never come back to this place

This is the perfect place to eat if you want ultra-fast service, good food, and a low price. I have come here many many times and I have yet to be disappointed. Highly recommended.
