First of when i entered the place there was a woman sleeping in the couch. Then i preceded to the restroom where I only wanted to offer my cleaning services. No one wants to see a half inch of dust on the ledges, cob webs streaming above them or the smell of piss where even the staff is expected to cleanse themselves. I was meeting someone there so even though I wanted to leave I ordered a caramel latte which left me with even more disappointed because of the straight warm milk taste that flooded my taste buds. I can only assume that the only reviews ever written for this place were one from the staff and maybe their friends. There was no ambience to the place no comfy cozy feel, just the urge to ask them if they need my help cleaning and maybe spicing up the place. I feel bad for this review, but someone had to be real! XOXO

An employee came over to my group of friends, and autistic sister, and gave us a warning to be quiet. Seconds later, she returns, giving us the same warning. Really it was only my autistic sister making noise, and I SNAPPED at that woman. She then went on to say it was the entire group making noise, when really it was only my sister. We were so unsettled we had to leave. My sister was too unsettled to stay. This girl worked on Friday night, 6:30ish, December 30th. I can easily say that my group can get obnoxious, but we easily conform to the employees and tone it down if not leave out of respect. This was the first time I brought my disabled sister and had -THAT- much of a problem. Beyond that, the food is very good. They make some killer cookies here. And my friends love whatever they get. Same goes for me.

I stopped in after attending a wedding in Dearborn, and I must say this is a really cute, 2nd wave coffee shop. Tasty coffee and a great urban atmosphere, but the food options could be a little better. My baristas were very friendly, if a bit inexperienced, but they did a great job. I sat outside in the little patio table, a great place to people watch or have a tête-a-tête with a friend. If Im back in town Id definitely stop by again.

This is a place ive gone to on and off since highschool. The owners are always friendly, and there are many different drinks to try out. It also doesnt hurt that its near the dollar theatre as well as a coney island making the desserts a really good follow up to both. There are also some fun music,artistic events that pass through there as well so be sure to check it out of youre in the area!

Try the Banana Nut Latte! The service at the City is fantastic, the owners Pam & Frank are nice and accessible. The ambiance is great for dates, friends, or just going to chill alone in a hip mom & pop coffee shop. I have been a faithful customer for almost ten years. The City is always a good time, and remains one of the few good reasons to make the trip to Allen Park.

The employee was super rude from the moment I even got to the shop. When I was ordering she kept rolling her eyes and making rude gestures. She even took my order incorrect which I didnt even mind because people make mistakes, but what I did mind was her attitude. Overall the place has a cool vibe.

Excellent old school coffee house with friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Great drink and snack collection. Supports local artists with small gallery sales and occasional open mic. Uses perka reward system. A nice place to hang out with friends, do homework, read, play chess, etc.

They have a good selection of both traditional cafe drinks and more adventurous/sweet drinks. I got the caramel iced latte and I definitely intend on coming back to try out more on the menu. They serve ice cream, tiramisu, Italian/french sodas, bagels, etc.

Really cute and cozy coffee shop! The best atmosphere around, honestly. They have pour over coffees, frozen frappes and frozen hot chocolate, loose leaf tea, ice cream, and tons of espresso drinks. Definitely worth stopping in and hanging out for a while.
