This was a great find on Shrewsbury Street! Me and my Dad were looking for a restaurant that was still open at 11:30, and Kenichi was open until 1, I think. Some of the options seemed a little pricey, but still not outrageous, especially for a restaurant in the city.The menu had many choices, and even had a little note at the bottom of the menu that if you didnt see anything you liked, the chefs could probably make something for you. The decor was both refined and casual. I felt very comfortable in the wooden booth and enjoyed the variety in seating and the option to sit by the window. I ordered the General Chicken which was reasonably priced, and asked for it to be extra spicy, which was almost a mistake, but it was so tasty, I didnt mind the extreme spiciness. The presentation was absolutely beautiful. Dad ordered the pad thai, which I sampled and found to be satisfactory. The waitresses were very kind and friendly, and also made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. The hostess even tolerated my Dads jabbering with a smile. I will have to come back and try more dishes soon!

Kenichi is an amazing place! First of all, theyre open at 11 AM on Saturday... not many sushi places are open for lunch on weekends. So going at lunchtime, the prices for the lunch menu are amazing as well :) The place itself looks kind of sketchy from the outside, but the inside is nice, clean and relaxing - I find the small sketchy looking places with amazing insides are always the best places to eat. Their sushi was very good as well as the service from our waitress who was very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this place for lunch if youre ever craving sushi and dont forget to order a nice drink!

-+. poor service by the server (busy watching tv and on the phone, not seem to care). They will nickle and dime you for everything. I mean who charges $1 extra for substituting soy wrap? and who charges $1.25 extra for spicy mayo on side? and $1 extra for adding cream-cheese in potato maki? (I have been to many sushi places and they never charge extra for any of these) When we asked why is it so when it doesnt say anywhere in the menu or that we werent told about it then the answer is "oh, its always like that" and didnt seem to care. I am not going here again. Not recommended.

This place has great customer service, which compliments the already delicious, quality made food. The items from the kitchen like the pad thai are nice and light, not saturated with salt. The crab rangoons are the best I have had, and you cant beat 8 of them for $5! The staff seem to care about the customers experience and they are very nice. I highly recommend you try this place and see for yourself. You wont be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I went to Kenichi for his birthday because his sister said the food was amazing and she was right! The appetizer and rice was so good and the presentation was outstanding. They had so many sushi options and other foods. Also the pricing is very good. I have already recommended this place to several people! The atmosphere and the staff are also very nice.

Hot and sour soup was good, edamame was good, sushi was pretty bad. Fish wasnt fresh, asparagus was soft,rolls werent wrapped tight, and on top of it, it took an hour to get our food, and we were one of 3 tables that had people there. Have had much better sushi other places in Worcester that were priced similarly. 2 stars because the apps were good.

By far the best Sushi Ive ever had and thats a LOT of sushi. Service here is phenomenal! If you ask someone to do a backflip for you Im sure they would! Definitely order a Pink Lady. You can throw a dart at the menu and anything you hit will be excellent! There arent enough stars to convey how good everything is!

We sat outside on a windy day. The servers werent too worried about the trash that was stuck against our table. Seems odd. To us think theyd want to be tidy. We removed it ourselves. The sushi wasnt all that great. Will give another chance some day. Just not tomorrow.

I stopped here for lunch because I needed to kill time in Worcester, and boy am I glad. Service was excellent, and I highly recommend the Worcester Special Roll (Trust me, eel, tuna, and crab meat actually go together quite well!

The crab tempur is exceptional, the spider maki is very tasty and goes great with nice dark ale, The Red Snapper Sushi / not in rolls thank god , I hate fake sushi bars
