The food is good, they have great vegetarian options--their website says they deliver to Worcester and Shrewsbury. They told us theyd charge us an extra $3 charge for delivery to our part of Worcester (near Paxton line), which we were happy to pay for good food. The fourth or fifth time we ordered delivery, they told us they wouldnt deliver to us "during the busy hour." We asked to speak to a manager to explain they deliver to us all the time, they hung up on us. We called back, they hung up again. We have spent hundreds of dollars there, and we do not place small delivery orders, so are pretty disappointed in the service. The service in the restaurant is not that great either--which is why were choosing to have delivery.

I wish i can give them less than one star. The worst dinner experience ever. The food was good but the waiter made our dinner horrible. His attitude, lack of respect, negligence, and ignorance was intolerable I had to write a review about it. Started from ignoring us since we sat down, then came by to take half the order then left, 5 minutes later he came back with half the drinks then to take the rest of the order and went back to get the rest of the drinks. He neglected the ladies who were with us, then was dealing with our kids as if they were an infection that he wanted to get rid of. Bottom line if your a lady or have kids dont go there otherwise you will go home hungry. THE WORST SERVICE EVER.

My friend and I went for late lunch on 3.18.16, the food was terrible the staff was worse. The waiter was unpleasant and rude he never came back to our table to inquire why we barely touch our food, when we request to speak to manager, he snatches the bill off table and states he will take 10% off the dish we mention was uneatable. This is not what we want. We do not get to speak to management, we pay the bill and leave the offensive packed to go food on the table. We will never return again. Save your time and money on a place worth spending it on AVOID the RED LANTERN on Shrewsbury St, in Worcester. MA.

The food is fine, albeit a pit pricey. However, the customer service is terrible, especially with delivery. Ive never gotten any utensils with my meals when I used to get it delivered to my workplace, so I began asking for them over the phone when I placed an order. I had to be very specific, like that I needed a fork to eat my lo mein, for example. They treated this like it was a huge imposition, and even the delivery guy gave me a sarcastic attitude. Needless to say, I gave him a small tip, and just concluded that they didnt want my business that much, so I havent done business with them since!

My wife and I have been looking for a decent Chinese restaurant since we moved to the area a year ago. We stumbled into the Red Lantern a couple of weeks ago, and it has quickly become our favorite. The crispy duck is as good as the Duck Ive had in Beijing and Hong Kong. The Szechuan chicken was almost as good as I remember when I was in Chengdu, Sichuan. They cook everything to order, so you can get the spice levels the way you want. The Mai Tais are strong, and they have Keno. The service is the most Chinese thing about the place, lol, you just have to get their attention.

Booooo!!! i found the food to be VERY UNFLAVORFULl!! the chicken lo mein had NO seasoning or sauce whatsoever, and NO vegetables other than onions and cabbage!! the beef and broccoli was underseasoned aswell, and the broccolli was OVERcooked!! the crab rangoons had NO flavor at all!! and the food was EXPENSIVE!! i paid over $31 for 3 items!! BOOOOO!! VERY DISSAPPOINED!! i dont recommend eating here EVER!!!

Where do I start? Went out with a few friends from out of town. We went mostly for drinks but ended up getting food. Waiter was rude. When you ask for anything he was rude and beyond ignorant. Drinks were were okay. The food was nothing special, greasy and already made. The food was not cooked fresh. It was the worst fried rice that I had ever had. I could go on for a while. Bottom line stay away from this place!

Some cranky folks up in here! I like that I can get sushi or chinese. Both are decent. I always get delivery and my driver has been the same guy and awesome each time and I tip him accordingly. I always expect Chinese food to take a little longer than the average pizza shop but Ive never waited more than an hour. This isnt unreasonable.Ill keep using their service as long as its good.

After waiting 20 minutes for someone to even take our drink order, we decided to leave. The bartender and waitstaff were extremley rude! Have had the food there before and it isnt the greatest. Do yourself a favor and head about a mile down the road to Chumlees, excellent food, service and the people are very friendly.

Food is great - but get take out. Went inside several times - first we had lousy service, went a second time thinking maybe we caught them on a bad night - again lousy service. Waited a year to try again - great service! Encouraged, we went back the next week - lousy service. The waitstaff is very unorganized.

the food is amazing and service good. But however this regular date spot for my girlfriend and I will no longer be such as she got food poisoning and a UTI from the Vegetable lo mein. Used to be my favorite spot in Worcester but now Im afraid I will never be going back

DONT GO OR ORDER TAKE OUT.... Bartender was extremely rude. Ordered take out, got home and realized I paid A LOT of $$$$ for a small amount of food. Food was greasy, all I got was the fat of the boneless spare ribs!!! Will never go back or recommend this place!!!

The food here is above average for the style. When this place first opened, it was amazing and has gone down hill a bit. However, its still pretty good. I like the dumplings.

When I order chinese, I order from here. General Tsos is a must. Best Lo mein. Egg rolls are scrumptious. Beef teriyaki is bomb!

The General Tsos chicken is pretty much the same as eating pieces of chicken out of a wet bag of sugar. It is sickeningly sweet.
