The most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Ambiguous talking, double meaning potentials and most harmful is the unethical Business. Mr Singh and Taj Restaurant is a cheater and fraud. They disagree to receive credit card to avoid paying Tax and cheat customers with fault commitments. I will write detailed incident shortly. Please go to other restaurants that are ethical and does not do scam. We booked “Catering” for a Lunch party. 1. Not punctual – Arrived 45 mins late. Guests moved without lunch. 2. Some of food item(s) even arrived more lately. 3. Unclear communication– As per booking communication, “Food delivery” and “service” was not having any extra charge. During payment it was told conflicting. 4. Unclear communication about serving spoons, once told to buy our own, then will be provided with charge or no charge was not clear. 5. Process of leftover food hand over was communicated inversely prior to the party and after the party. 6. Charged 10 people extra charge which is highly disappointing. Their person confirmed the total food served to 49 people before leaving the party while they took payment for 65 and 15 people extra food not given to us. 7. 5% cash back in Credit card for restaurant in Q2 2016 was lost as the payment was not accepted by credit card by bank check. 8. No receipt has been provided. 9. Heard criticisms from guests about “Chicken Biriyani”. Never ever saw this dish with onion slices in it. It did not have any taste or flavor of Chicken biryani. Worst Chicken Biriyani ever had. 10. One dish promised to serve in Tawa but the dish was entirely changed.

Had a buffet lunch with my friend last Sunday 10/30. The noodles was good and other items are average. They charged us $12+/person - which is a way high for the items served and compare with other Indian restaurants. The overall charge came up around $25+ for two person and paid through my credit card. The shock came after two days when I checked my credit card statement where this restaurant charged me $35.39. I called Restaurant and explained where they showed no concern at all. Mistakes could happen anywhere but the way they handled the issue is not acceptable. Thought to highlight this incident on this review to others to make them aware about this restaurants carelessness on others credit card transactions. Two stars given to the noodles taste only.

The menu and the information said by the serving person is totally wrong. The plates are very dirty and when we order a special biryani... They put only one shrimp in the biryani and they are proud to say that they only give one shrimp and still taste is very bad. Apparently Fish is also one of the ingredient is the dish and the waiter says they never put fish in the biryani. The attitude of one of the waitress is very bad. The only positive thing is... the waitress named "Aishwarya" is best. I will never go to this place again.

My god. Literally the BEST! Indian food Ive had. The chicken naan bread, and the garlic naan were unreal. The chicken tikka was....my good. Out of this world good. The Mango chick taj was just as good. Start With the mango lassi. Have 2 during your meal. And maybe make one of them your dessert! Ha ha ha. Cant wait to go back. Going to try out the buffet. GO HUNGRY! You get a lot for the $$

We hosted a Birthday Party and Taj provided several dishes. Their food was amazing, as well as their service. The food arrived hot and in a warming box which they allowed me to keep for the party. Guest raved about the chutneys even! When you go into the restaurant for lunch, they usually service a lovely soup. Cauliflower soup was my favorite. We look forward to having them in the future!

Terrible service .... Poor hospitality....not at all welcoming..... Waitress has no clue on wats on the menu... Gave us wrong food with mossing elements..... She was irritated all the time....has no patience at all.... No wonder there were no customers coming during our 2.5 hours time there.... Dont ever go there guys !!! Thankfully the other waitress Aishwarya treated us well....

I found this restaurant by trolling the internet trying to find decent desi food around Quincy. I was a little skeptical at first, but they have good food. I talked to the guy Deep, a decent humble person. I tried Biryani, Bhindi Masala and papri chat. The quality was good. I liked their traditional type of chapati. If you are in the town, then this is a must go restaurant.

The experience from start to finish was exceptional. Friendly and honest service. Absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection dishes. Spice level what we asked for, lacking nothing. We were on a search for a local Indian restaurant, after a long search we have found what we were looking for. Thank you! Chicken madras - wonderful. Lamb biryani had generous portions of meat.

Really good lunch buffet with limited items. 3 chicken, 1 lamb, 3 vegetarian, but well worth the drive from canton, ma. Service was awesome in this tiny restaurant. When the items were running out in the buffet, the chef made some more.

Tried Lamb biryani and Chicken Biryani both of them are good in taste. Dont expect Hyderabad Dum biryani style but it looks more like Pulao with veggies. Ambience is really good. Note: Rates mentioned Google Menu arent right

Great place! I got the lunch size Chicken Curry which was fantastic and a little spicy (I ordered medium), so if you dont like spicy at all order mild. My coworker got the Chicken Korma which they also enjoyed.

Great lunch buffet ! Not many places offer things like Vindaloo, and the choice between regular or garlic Naan during Lunch Buffet. everything was fresh and very flavorful, as Indian food should be !
