I have been to Sorrento a few times. The food is always good and the service is usually excellent. Tonight I did take out instead of dining in I stood at the bar for 8 minutes with multiple waitresses and the bartender walking past me and not even acknowledging that i was standing there. The bartender was too busy talking to one of his friends. I asked one of the waitresses if this is where I pick up takeout. She said "I thought someone was helping you" she then turn to the bartender and asked where are michael was (at least I think that was the name she said) apparently hes the only one that can deal with takeout food. In the time frame that I stood there I could have had an alcoholic beverage. The bartender never even thought to look at me and asked if I would like a drink. Usually everyone is so nice and so friendly and tonight and I did not get that warm feeling. Its going to be awhile before I return.

We do a take out order once a week and the food is very good. Michael is always very pleasant when he takes our order but tonight the girl that took our order seemed like we were bothering her.... i didnt know that they were closing in 30 minutes and she had such an attitude.. even when my husband picked it up she was rude. My husband has his own business and sometimes people come in when hes ready to close but he would never think of being rude to his customers and always accommodates them. Another time we called in a take out order and was on hold so I got in my car which was an 8 min ride and showed them my phone and how long they had me on hold!!! We stopped going there for awhile until we heard that someone named Michael was doing the takeouts and no problems until tonight!

Went there for the 1st time tonight because people said it was good. Was seated right away at a small table for 2, but then no one came to greet us for at least 20 minutes. Then a waitress came and said she didnt know who sat us but she would take our order if we knew what we wanted. Didnt give us the specials or any water. Took another 20 minutes to get the salad and then it seemed it was another 40 minutes before we received our dinner. No one came back to see how anything was and if we needed anything. Food was good, but not sure I would go back because of the service.

Went there for my birthday and it was fantastic! 4 of us ate and drank for under $100 and thats with special orders (which dont upset them) and all four of loved our dishes which ranged from steak to their veal sorrento which has all of my favorite things. Veal topped with ricotta topped with eggplant topped with Mozzarella. It was a lot of food and the leftovers made an even better lunch the next day. Thank you for making my birthday wonderful!

This restaurant is my favorite place to eat! Iv been here several times and every dish I have ordered has been delious. From the appetizers to their homemade desserts love the tiramisu! The chefs marinara sauce is incredibly good! The food is fantastic! You can tell every thing he makes is so fresh you can taste it in all the ingredients. I am looking forward to eating here again real soon!

My husband & I have eaten here several times since they came into N. Prov. with my in-laws with friends even have taken 7 of my closest friends here we all have had a wonderful meal the service was fab and the prices are great I recommend Sorrentos for a really nice fresh meal I will probably see you there, enjoy everyone.

We had fish and chips waited much to long 30minutes coffee wasnt hot fish was watery and batter was greasy . Italian food looks good people seemed to be enjoying it.waitress was overwhelmed by a busy lunch crowd but did and excellent job of getting the customers served

This is a hidden gem. From the street it doesnt look like much but the food is delicious and the employees are so nice! You can tell how much they all care about your experience. The place keeps expanding and if you go once, you will know why. GREAT Italian food

Absolutely fantastic! Mike served us, we felt like family. Very relaxed atmosphere. Snail salad was incredible! We both had the shrimp marinara. Excellent price! Delicious!

Hidden gem ! Been 3 times and it was excellent and I always sit at the bar and Michael the bartender was awesome. Its always a fun time and we laugh the hole night.
