Kitchen: Its actually impressive how good the food is, considering the kitchen is absolutely tiny. The burgers are sensational, the spinach salad with steak tips is my favorite and I hear the sandwiches are great too. Some outstanding items on the menu attract repeat eaters, like the fried pickle or the exceptional chicken wings. Lets make it clear here- the salt & pepper wings are without any batter and really amazing. Location: Right on main street with a small (~20-30 people) outdoor patio to end a working day in summer. They have plenty of TV and everything seems like youd expect it to be. Atmosphere: Its a typical new England bar with many regulars and some walk-ins. Can be anywhere between calm and crazy but never uncomfortable. Staff Maybe the biggest plus for this place. I dont even remember anyone who I would not consider outstanding server, bartender, waitress. Very friendly and super funny. The crew is definitely the reason for .e to go again. Notes I believe they offer some sort of a rewards system for weekdays lunch. If you work in the neighborhood I am jealous you get to benefit from it.

Stopped in after work one night with a work crew. I used to hang out here during my college days, and its exactly the same, its a little dark inside, but I think thats the look theyre going for, which there is nothing wrong with. There was an after-work crowd in the bar, and it seemed like everyone was enjoying their time. We did not have to wait for a table as we were there on the early side. We sat down and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. We ordered a round of drinks and some appetizers. We had the wings, fries, and fried pickles (no side of angioplasty was served). The food was great, although we are not picky. Overall, I would say that this was a good experience, and Ill definitely stop in again.

Meh... Drinks are cheap, but food is mediocre. Looking at all the good reviews we decided to check this place out. It took them 30 minutes to make two burgers. We asked for medium-rare, they made them well done and just put cold chunks of cheese on the top. They didnt have draft on the menu I asked for. To add insult to the injury the waitress overcharged us, and then could not even figure out how to make a change in the computer. It was Friday night and the place was pretty empty. There are so many good spots in Waltham to grab a burger and a beer, and this place is definitely not one of them.

...where do I start? The food is absolutely delicious! Stopped in for lunch and was introduced to their new special menu. Jumped all over the steak and cheese sandwich the second I saw it. Siracha ketchup, spinach tomatoes and chunks of perfectly grilled steak! YUM! Also the best sweet potato fries Ive ever had, hands down. The specialty drinks all looked delicious, I got the cinnamon toast crunch shooter. Which was very scrumptious. All in all this is definitely a place I would return to and plan on adding to my local lunch spots.

It was not great. Bartender was less than personable, didnt make conversation and we were the only people there on a saturday at 6pm. We were 2 guys getting some beers and she made no conversation, not even fake, idc conversation. Look past this place, unless youre desperate.

Staff is friendly enough, though not exactly hard working. Bar food is really good for what it is. Its usually not packed after work, which is a good thing for me so that you can actually talk with the people youve come with

Trivia is a lot of fun on Wednesday evenings (the trivia host takes song requests) and they offer pitchers of beer. Food is good bar food, though were disappointed they took the "dirty fries" off the menu.

Good food for a casual place. Great cajun fries and 30 cent wings (during specials). Wings are not as good as the (now closed) place on Moody was, but might be the best in Waltham now.
