This place is what youve been looking for, even if you didnt know it! Its a hidden gem. Beginning in mid March and remaining open until Christmas Eve, this bakery and farm is family owned & operated. They have amazing freshly baked pastries and breads, soups and dinner pies, along with their famous "Putnam (fruit) Pies." If you sit in back to have a cup of tea or coffee, notice the bee hive display tucked in the corner. Its great to watch nature at work from the safety of the other side of the glass. Behind/around the bakery is a living, working farm. In the spring, get bedding plants and the most lovely mixed hanging baskets. Order your pies for the spring holidays, and theyll do the work for you. Summer brings more plants and fresh veggies. By the end of summer there are fresh picked flowers nearly every day (weather permitting) and the flowers and veggies last through the first hard frost. In October theres tons of fun with free hayrides to pick your own pumpkins, apple cider donuts and mulled cider. November is time to order Thanksgiving pies. Then in December, this place is THE place to go if you want the most beautiful wreaths/kissing balls/ and other holiday decor made fresh on site by locally cut pine. All the while, they carry fresh local eggs and dairy, including goats products. The store has a number of hard-to-find specialty products, such as handmade soaps, lotions and other skin care products made on site, sage smudge sticks, hand dyed tie dye shirts, birdhouses made from gourds grown on the farm, specialty photo cards, painted glassware, and more! Its an excellent place to shop for gifts while supporting all local artisans and farmers.

We have gotten pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas here every year since around 1979. Last year the apple was marginal and this year the pumpkin was tasteless and very mushy. Normally they are 2 of our favorites so this year we decided to complain and they nicely said that we should return what was left of the pie and they would give a refund. I did because I wanted them to know that there was a problem with the pie that I normally look forward to. When I returned it the elderly lady working the counter gave me a really hard time but finally gave me some of the money back (less than the purchase price) because I wouldnt take another pie in exchange. She was so rude that severanlother shoppers put down what they were about to purchase and left the store. We will not be buying our pies here anymore.

We have been shopping here for 28 years and have always been happy with their pies. It is our go to pie shop. Never been disappointed. It has other great baked goods as well; stuffed breads, cider doughnuts, cinnamon breads, whoopie pies, cookies, etc. Also a great place to get tie dye shirts. The pumpkin shirts this time of year are stunning. Vegetables in the summer are excellent. Homemade soups are perfect in the fall and winter. If in the Northern Connecticut or Southwick, Massachusetts area it is a must to stop here. The staff has always been wonderful. Special orders are welcome. We can not say enough good things about this farm store.

Best apple cider donuts on the planet! I drive 40 minutes to pick them up. It is a favorite fall tradition of mine to drive and look at the leaves and stop to get donuts and go on a lovely hay ride to pick out my pumpkins. I highly recommend checking Blossoming Acres out.

AWESOME! Gotta try the pies and go there later in the morning and hopefully you can catch one of their *heavenly* cinnamon rolls...theyre the size of your head and are to-die!

Great place to buy fresh vegetables and other fine foods. They are across the street from Southwick Acres Campground show in the Massachusetts Gazatteer as #4650 on map 46N9,
