First and foremost, S E R V I C E! You can not get better service than this place. Very attentive, not annoyingly so. Second, the first thing that you do notice is a very clean bright place. No tacky decor, not crowded, not dimly lit. Then we get to the food. I have eaten here 6 or 7 times now and have gotten a variety of items, all of which have been fantastic. Fresh, hot, delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. And yes, the BEST crab rangoons that I have ever had. Fantastic service, a clean comfortable atmosphere and out of this worl food make this my choice for Chinese food!

In my opinion Lee Chen has the best Chinese cuisine on the east coast. No, I dont own the place. I was introduced by an in-law to Lee Chen 10 years ago and have been going back weekly every since. The dining room eat in experience is as close to 5 star service as a small Chinese restaurant can be with very attentive and friendly staff and food that is cooked to order served hot and is consistently delicious. The take out is also a wonderful experience for your taste buds, I highly recommend Lee Chen anytime your tongue gets a craving for some REALLY GOOD Chinese food!

I love their food, I would give 5 stars if their chicken wings were better done. It is soggy and I don;t like it batter fried, if I want that I would go to KFC, Great service, nice people, I wished they delivered, if so I would order at least twice a week. Their food of course is nothing like Boston Chinatown, if you want really excellent Chinese I recommend New Jumbo Seafood in Chinatown, get the fresh (live) steamed prawns, order garlic peapod stems and clams with blackbean sauce. There is just no comparison, but then we are in Andover....

I can only assume they cater to a local US market, as this was probably the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. The only reason for giving 2 stars was the young lady that served me she was apologetic and offered to change but I didnt want anything else so I paid my bill in full and left.... In my humble opinion - dont bother if you have ever tasted real Chinese food before

Food here is delicious and a good balance between Americanized Chinese food and more traditional offerings. If you can speak Chinese , you can order some more traditional off menu items that the cook may know how to make. Typically very busy inside and with take out. Friendly staff and loads of parking available behind the place .

Best Chinese cuisine in the area. The quality of the chicken, shrimp, and beef is superb. Their food tastes incredibly fresh and you can tell that theyre not refrying and re-serving old food like some other restaurants. The staff is very friendly. This is my favorite place to eat. Absolutely no complaints. :)

So far, Lee Chen tops my East Coast Chinese experience. Freshness and flavor is excellent and consistent. After just spending $36 on bad food tonight, I am committed to Lee Chen, even with a forty minute round trip. The inside dining experience is also exceptional. Very professional and attentive waitstaff.

Love Lee Chen. We go here so much the staff recognizes my fiance. I am a vegetarian and I always get the general tso bean curd, spring rolls and vegetable ravioli! Delicious. Only Chinese food place Ill eat around here ! Great dine in experience as well, very attentive staff!

Really enjoyed it and even though Ive been familiar with the area for years and had never been til recently and so gladi did, food was fresh. Servers were friendly. Decor could use some update and just being picky but I would have liked some booths. Definatly going back.

I went here 2 days in a row. Great parking. People are waiting to greet and seat you. Constantly filling up our water. Tea is also provided. The food here is delicious. All plates are warmed. Drinks are cheap. Zombie, purple passion, long island and sake. All under $6.

Says they will deliver but when you call they ask you how much you want to order if they dont think it is enough food ordered they will say that they cant deliver it and ask if you can pick it up. Even though it is right down the street. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Me and my family used to get take out from here all the time. Then management changed and the food and everything thing else went down hill. We go two towns over now to get food. It was disappointing to see them turn in to something they could have avoided.

This former Pizza Hut was transformed in to the best Chinese Restaurant in Essex County. In short order, the will know your name, and special preferences like hot mustard with my hot & sour soup. If your adventurous, try the Whole Fish.

Excellent genuine food and very reasonable price. Have visited multiple times and the quality and service are always great. Today I forgot my phone, and they immediately noted this and ran out to bring it to our car before we left.

About a year ago we got awesome food here, but yesterday we got very mediocre food.. They served the entire dinner before they could prepare an order of spring roles -- which tells me the food preparation was run-of-the-mill.

Very fast for takeout. The food is more flavorful than most Chinese places in the area, but they never seem to make it spicy even when I ask. There are cheaper places nearby, but the food here is consistently better.

Restaurants space was very open and was very clean. Service was quick and hot tea is served with dinner. Crab rangoon is just average. Beef and broccoli was good. Prices arent too bad and the portions are good.
