The waitress was friendly and the drinks were tasty. I had a great burger with bacon jam on it. Also, the French onion soup was to die for. The second night, we ordered a large pizza and they accidentally made a small so they made us a large instead, while my boyfriend waited at the bar as were staying at the hotel and we were getting the pizza to go. They offered him a free drink, which he declined. When he got back to the hotel room with the pizza it was incredibly tasty but they forgot to put the pepperoni on it. So that was disappointing but I would still recommend it, because it was indeed good.

Slightly above average bar food, the service was just okay, they seem distracted and bothered. The sandwiches are small, I was left hungry after onion soup and a rueben. A great beach location which is most likely the reason for higher stars. Ive had the onion soup, fish and chips, chowder, rueben, and mahi tacos over my 2 weeks in Falmouth and the onion soup was the most memorable. Definitely a good bar after hours. The owner of this place is related to the owners of seaside inn, turns out this family knows how to run a bar, but are horrible at running an inn.

Excellent food and even better staff. As out of towners we were looking for a good local place to eat and turned to Google for reviews. Like most Americans we based our decision off of the pictures; unfortunately the burger we had our hopes set on was no longer on the menu. Our wonderful waitress didnt bat a lash and told us she would make it happen. The manager also came over to ensure that we were all on the same page and they delivered as promised. It was to burger we hoped it to be. Thank you for making our last dinner on the Cape a memorable experience.

Indifferent bartender. Stopped here for a few cold ones, was planning on getting something to eat as well, the bartender however was not at all interested in his bar crowd, guess you have to be a "regular" to be noticed, had to keep calling him in order to get service as he kept disappearing around the corner, so we decided to get food elsewhere. When you charge premium prices, please offer some half decent service, you guys obviously have the location and the ambiance, but your bartender made this place rather forgettable for us.

This place was cool. Great food! Lobster dip was amazing!! Drinks were good too this would definetly get a 4 minimum but the service was...fine? It was a rainy day so seating took forever and the staff just wasnt that friendly. My friend knocked over a small box of pamphlets and instead of being nice the waitress yelled "we gotta spill" and looked at him angrily lol...not a huge deal I just expect a little more I guess. Food really was very good though and I would reccomend it as an easy meal in Falmouth.

The British Bear Company is probably the grossest restaurant I have ever been to! If I could rate this in the negatives I would! I got the mac and cheese. The portion size looked like it was for an ant. I took my first bite and I nearly threw up. The cheese was very sharp and tasted like it wasnt refrigerated for 5 years! On top of the food the environment was horrible! Full of people at the bar and isnt a kid-friendly place. Im so disappointed because I was hoping it would be good!

Were seated rather promptly however the waitress was unenthusiastic and could have cared less. We ordered an appetizer which arrived untimely and was completely over done to the point where we refused to eat it. The waitress attempted to ignore the situation and finally came over agreed to remove it from the bill however did not apologize or offer anything to our party. If you like bad service and burned food then this is your place.

Apps were horrible, martini forget about it. The bar serve was slow. Had to raise my hand like in school just to get the attention of the bartender. When we walked on we were told to grab a table, but no table service after 10 pm, so we were told if we wanted apps ONLY to go order at the bar instead we sat at the bar. Entertainment wow hopefully they are not paying him....

Waitress told us that she needed to take another tables order before ours, we waiting for 1 hour before someone took our order. And then had to wait 45 mins for meh food. Except waitress forgot to put in one of our orders. No apology just blamed it on the kitchen staff. When we got the meal half the muscles had no meat. Worst part was tip was built into check.

This has a great cozy location next to the water with great views and great food! The menu has wide selection with large portions ajd pricing that wont break the bank. You can order some seafood and my husband loves their fish and chips but I love the turkey pasties! We live close by and by far this us our favorite restaurant in Falmouth.

Like others have said, service is a bit of a miss, but the food is good, good beer selection, and the onion soup is phenomenal. Steak and ale and chicken and ale pies and the clam chowder were OK but completely forgettable. The view is fantastic and considering theyll make you wait forever for everything, thats not a horrible thing

I havent been here in awhile but I liked there pizza and use to get it all the time. I ordered take out. I got a salad and 2 large pizzas, one of them was the wrong pizza both barely warm and both completely disgusting!! We ended up throwing them both away after each having a slice of each pizza. Very unsatisfied!

The British Beer Company was definitely awesome! We went there for both of our visits to Cape Cod and plan on returning next summer! The food was excellent, however, it was incredibly busy for both of our visits, and we had to wait for about an hour. With that being said, I would still recommend it.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Falmouth (and Ive tried them all, I grew up in this town). Great atmosphere, great beer, great food. You wont go wrong with anything on the menu, but I particularly recommend the fish and chips (very generous helping, always made nice and crunchy).

Wonderful British atmosphere, excellent food, and tasty beer. Great view and friendly service as well. Had the calamari, fish and chips, and clam chowder (shared everything 3-ways). Every bite was delicious and the portions were very generous.

Good pub food the fish and chips are enough to feed two. I went for an early lunch so I didnt have any beer but they have a a good looking selection. This place is busy, I couple of times we tried to go they had a bit of a wait.

Long wait to get seated but its obviously a great place, so not really a complaint. Ambiance is nice and the food is always superb. Not a big fan of the Red Sox games on the tvs, but everything else is worth it!!

Second time going, will always return. The wait is long, but it is to be expected with such great food. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Just be prepared to wait and enjoy a drink from the bar.
