The owner (John -- always so friendly and accommodating) said they only use "very fresh" ingredients -- a simple ticket to success that makes all the difference here, as its all so healthy-looking and healthy-tasting. The veggies stay colorful and crisp, the well-selected meat and seafood are cooked just right, and the dishes are sauced and/or spiced no more than needed. Even the "usual" Chinese dishes are something special and fresh. (No need to "hide" good food.) A Kitchen has set the bar high -- and vaulted over it with delicious ease. This was quite easily the largest expense to quality ratio I have ever experienced. Here, I feel like Ive been robbed. 18 dollars for a mini-me version of a combination plate with soup. 18 dollars for lunch and I am still hungry. Quality of food is superior to, say, golden chopsticks...but, it is not exceptional...just clean with decent ingredients. Delivery time was also reasonable (~25 min). Will never order again outside of events associated with a wedding, graduation, or some other event that requires spending a ton of money for simply acceptable products due to emotion-induced blindness.

We ordered the Volcano Maki, Red Sox Maki, Gyoza, and the Shrimp & Veg Tempura. The gyoaza had a good balance between filling and wrapper, and they tasted delicious. The shrimp & veg tempura had a good mix of veggies and the veg were really good. The batter used on the shrimp was different, but it still tasted very good. The rolls were fantastic! The volcano maki had a good bite too it, but it wasnt too spicy. The red sox roll was my personal favorite, but Im fairly biased towards anything salmon. Definitely a place that I would come back to!

well, just picked up my food a few moments ago, really excited to try out a new place. Unfortunately my first experience was not a good one, my sesame chicken tasted more like orange chicken with some sesame seeds thrown on top, my white rice, was pork fried rice, so the only thing thing they got right was my extra crab rangoon appetizer, which were ok...

I love this place. They have good fresh sushi.they have table service which is great too... The dinner plates are new looking and nice...I had the lobster sauce with shrimp and white rice which was good..you should try there Japanese ice cream,its unique..they have 4 flavors,I liked the green tea..

Always makes my short list for best Chinese takeaway joints in New England. And almost unique among such establishments, A Kitchens sushi is actually very respectable in and of itself. Owners/employees are wicked nice people to top it all off.
