The food was average but not great. The chicken Korma had greece the kept settling at the top even after I stirred it. My husband had a different chicken dish and felt it had too much onion that over powered the chicken. The naan was very good. The most disappointing part however was that both of us were up all night long sick even though we had different dishes. So it was perhaps the naan that made us ill since we both shared or the chicken in both of our dishes was not cooked well or bad quality used.

I went here today (a Saturday) for dinner. The place was not crowded. The waiting staff was courtious and efficient. I ordered a goat biriyani. In my opinion, it tasted quite authentic. The ambiance (including but not limited to the mellow Indian movie music being played in the background) is suitable for a date, a family dinner or a solo trip to the restaurant as I did. All in all, excellent. Highly recommend!

Love the Dot location, Cambridge location is just as good. Very dark in there, though. Definitely want to eat outside on a nice summer day. My friend enjoyed the buffet and said it was yummy. I ordered my favorite, chicken vindaloo, and they did not make it spicy per my request. I never have that problem at the Dot location.

Very Poor staffs Quality.Waiter and front desk needs proper traning. I had terrible experience with someone name Sabina.This waiter lady was mad at me because i did not greet her at the entrance.Even though i felt like slapping on her face but i just called the manager and her manager said SORRY !

I was there in luch for the buffet on friday it was very disappointing visiting there the worst management for the customer i used to visit other days always but it was fine the service was good but today the management was pathetic. The lady server was very rude ... not recommended at all the

The food here is great. My friends and I have been here twice. However I wish the Mali kofta was less dry. It used to be my favorite indian meal at another Indian restaurant. Its hard to find good Mali kofta! But I enjoy dining at shanti. Great service and the outside dining is fantastic.

They ought to correct the timings mentioned in Google listing as well as their door - it says 11.30AM to 10PM. Dropped by at 2.30PM and was informed they are closed. Pretty disappointing and unprofessional as we had ubered to this place during Boston site seeing based on their ratings.

Chicken tikka masala was quite disappointing. Chicken was overcooked and the sauce was not buttery enough. Service was poor also. We had to walk up to the front of the restaurant to pay up since nobody came by and the person at the register was just playing on their phone.

I had the buffet and the food quality and flavor was excellent. During peak times, some selections can run out and take a while to be replenished. The staff are very friendly and attentive, which is not always the case at buffets. I also enjoyed the clean, classy decor.

Pros: Quality of the food is good. Cons: We ordered navratan korma and what they brought was definitely not how it tastes. It had some dried flat beans, which is never never put in navratan korma. Dont order navratan korma, you will be disappointed.

Went there for lunch buffet. Solid place, clean, friendly staff, good choice of buffet at a reasonable price. Highlights were their tandoori chicken mix. Would go there again or recommend to a friend for a quick lunch in Cambridge.

Its what you would expect from an indian buffet. The food is above average, and I would recommend eating the tandoori chicken. Its a little pricey (with tip its about 15 bucks for lunch). Nice clean atmosphere, not very crowded.
