This place is a counter service burger joint with a retro theme. When I walked in here, it looked pretty empty. We ordered our burgers from the confusing but actually fairly limited menu. The order service was friendly and prompt. We then waited 35 minutes for our three burgers. There were signs about it not being fast food, but I thought that was a little extreme. I literally could have bought meat, ran home, cooked burgers, and ran them back faster. The burger style was steamed, like a really thick McDonalds burger. Thats not my favorite burger style honestly, but i know there are aficionados and it was salty and greasy at least. The onion rings were standard and fine. In short, I would come back here again, but only if I was lazy and desperate for a burger. And I would try to call my order in ahead.

The food is decent. Burgers, dogs, fries and shakes. Great for bringing the kids or getting a healthy dose of nostalgic throwback. The service was completely unacceptable though. I think theyre struggling to find and retain decent staff both in the kitchen and front of house. We waited 45 minutes for literally a chicken sandwich and 3 hot dogs. Then got excuses rather than apologies from our server. Weve been there a few times now. Over it. There are better options in a food rich town like Arlington.

I liked this place. Just had lunch with the wife and kids. Burgers are fresh and spiced just right. Kids loved the chicken fingers and fries. I had the large american burger and it was great. Price is right. Ive spent more money at food fast joints feeding the family. If your craving a burger stop by Retro you wont be disappointed.

Its nothing out of the ordinary, but it does its job. The people there are polite and the manager is a great guy. It also does its damdest to give off the retro feel and even has a Jukebox. Its the closest thing to Brighams in Arlington. The food is oretty good too

Great new place to eat in Arlington on Mass Ave! The burgers were cooked "just right" and the hot dog was great - next time Im going for the Clevelander just so I can try the stadium mustard which came highly recommended by…. a guy from Cleveland of course!

Food wasnt worth the ten minute drive at lunch. Place was completely empty which should have been a red flag. The food was subpar to say the least. After eating I can honestly say Id prefer a food food chain any day of the week.

Food is okay. The service is a bit weird. Came inside the guy behind the counter doesnt even greet you and didnt even say anything. This made me have a uncomfortable visit to which I will bring my business elsewhere.

Decent food at a good price. Nifty jukebox. The cook is incredibly slow. Seriously, not sure how it took him half an hour to make french fries, there were no other customers

Food was really good. I enjoyed the appetizers as well as the main dishes. I have gone back several times and each time is amazing. Also the corn bread is a must order.

I love the food. Have not tried dessert yet. The one problem I have is they can take a little while to cook. But once the wait is done your in for a treat
