I was traveling in the area and looking for good Indian food. The food here is great! It was well-seasoned and fresh. I do not understand why we were the only guests there at 6:30pm (after an hour more people showed up). If this restaurant was in my home town, it would be packed. My only guess is the building is a bit meh and they are not in a busy town. Their naan is a bit bready/thick, but the coconut soup was awesome (could be dessert!) and their matter paneer is well seasoned. We got the vegetarian dinner for two and still had some left over. If I am back in town, I will definitely come back. PEOPLE, wake up and enjoy some good Indian food in your town!

The place is small but neat. The service is partial (in my opinion) to a certain clientele, which is evident by the way the waiters fawn over certain customers while totally ignoring the others. They are not openly rude, but kind of politely aloof, the difference in treatment is clearly visible. The food here is pretty average and the spice/aroma is very bland, not like authentic indian cuisine. They have a very basic spread for the buffet and they take ages to refill the trays. The taste is not bad, but theres nothing extraordinary about any dish, all are pretty ordinary fare and definitely not authentic indian cusine. The service pulls down the ratings.

Ugh. Repeating what another reviewer said - decent (not great) food, and HORRIBLE service. Disdainful, slow, and really uncaring. We had to ask for water several times, including when they only filled 4 of the 5 glasses and walked away (not to come back), then basically grabbed menus away, etc. No smiles, no checking up on us, nothing. My husband had to walk up to them to get an extra plate 5 minutes after we asked for one. It was telling that the restaurant was barely 1/2 full on a Sat night at dinner. We wont be going back.

Average Indian food in Acton. I have only been to this place for their lunch buffet. The prices are on par with others Indian restaurants in the area. The buffet is pretty small with only a few entrees and apps for options. Pre made plain naan is offered as well as rice and some salad and dessert options. The space is pretty small but there is rarely a wait since there isnt much else in the area.

what a shame! we have been going to monsoon for years for the lunch buffet and after each visit over the last year we have been disappointed. After today, we are done! The food quality has gone way down as well as the service. In the past we were greeted at the door and felt very welcome, but that is not the case anymore. We will miss the old Monsoon Bistro. Food was tasteless and unauthentic, you could hear the kitchen staff yelling the entire time, and we couldnt get decent service even though there was a clump of waiters talking in a circle near the kitchen. When I last went there we ate half the food, threw the rest out, and left. Do not go here.

Very nice food, theyre using really fresh ingredients and that makes it very tasteful. However the service was a bit disappointing, the staff seems very harsh and didnt care much. I was prepared by reading the other reviews, so i didnt care either about them and enjoyed the food.

The food is ok, but service is horrible, the staff is very rude and rough, one time I ordered and I was late and guy called me with thick accent and scolding me for being late.....simple hated the service, will never go again

The lunch buffet has gotten much better over the past year or so. Much more flavorful and varied!!!! This is a good bet for those who love indian food.

Food was lacking authentic Indian taste, oily and very costly. All curries have same taste. I will not advice this place to enjoy good Indian food.

As an Indian-origin American I found the food to be mediocre and un-authentic. Never going there again.
