The decor is nice. I think it is better than the previous place that occupied the same space. However (probably because theyre new), they need time to adapt to bigger crowds. We had about 20 people and about a third of us got our food quite late. The good news is the food seemed freshly made for the last few of us. I wish they had some free wifi and I wish there was buffet everyday -- they indicated that buffet is only for certain days. There is a good amount of seating but larger groups will have to arrange tables together. Its probably best to call ahead so the wait staff can do it for you. Well surely go back.

Finally a great spot for southern indian food. Many excellent vegetarian options such as the curried okra that we had, but we also enjoyed the mutton biryani and the luscious butter chicken. Spice levels are always custom to your preference, we typically go quite spicy. From start to finish, service was attentive, but we never felt rushed. Id like to go back for their specialty, the stuffed paratha. Highly recommended.

New management Chakra => Madurai Indian Kitchen . Experience date: 7th May 2017 Sunday lunch Buffet : 15.99$/head Overall lunch buffet was too expensive for the no of items. In shrimp rice there was no Shrimp. Sambar was good. Parathas look like frozen parathas. Food was not cooked properly. Very disappointed, mainly because of the price we paid. (This is buffet experience. Dining food might be better)

The chef is new, so may be the crew is learning to adapt. There is nothing Madurai about the food here. Everything I sampled was off in one way or another, including the water. On a positive note the place is neat, the crew is polite and the price is not high.

New owners and the food got even better. Food is a little Spicer than the last owners and the buffet is only on Friday and Saturday. The midweek lunch platters that they serve are all to die for. They deliver but are closed on Mondays.

Ate the buffet today and was surprised by the quality and variety of their delicious and authentic dishes. Great tea and sweets. Super friendly staff and a clean environment. My new favorite spot. Highly recommend the weekend buffet.

Probably the best authentic Madurai style food in New England. Got the feel as if we were in a restaurant at Madurai. I loved the Madurai Mutton Sukka - The smell would remain in your hand for hoursssssss!!!

Chicken pieces in Egg Biryani. Cant trust them for vegetarian orders. Made us wait more than 25mins after the scheduled pickup time on a non-busy day.
