Just visited here recently. The servers were very attentive and professional. First thing I noticed was the dining room layout. The seating arrangement was a bit congested, and oddly spread out ( 2 of the tables being in front of where people walk in). It was clean and nice inside regardless. They had brass coffee cups they served water in; not a complaint, just a bit odd. The menu was a bit pricy, but had a good variety, and was easier to navigate and understand than many traditional Indian restaurants. However, this may have been a precursor as to why their food wasnt so traditional either. Their chicken tikka masala was lacking the creamy yogurt consistency it usually has, and had no peppers or onions (which is a standard). It had nice flavor atleast. Their lamb vindaloo was shy on meat, but not shy on the spices; making it almost inedible. That being said, the rice and the 2 main dishes were hot and fresh, which was nice. Overall, the price isnt worth it for the quality of food.

The good things first - Staff was courteous and the place was clean and decent. The cost of the buffet was just $10, which is good. The chicken was Halal , which was good as everyone in my group ate only Halal. The not so good - Spice levels are very very low, and eat at various Indian restaurants in and around and they are very very bland. This is my single largest reason to avoid this place in future. The chicken gravies (Tikka Masala and Balchao) besides the lack of spice also lacked chicken in them. i.e. The quantity was disappointing. They got the bread and chicken tandoori out fresh, but you ahd to wait and be lucky to get either as the portions they put out were gone faster than they could refill. One of things of a Lunch buffet is to grab things quickly and get back to work. If you have to wait for food, you are missing an important point. I will only consider going back if I hear that they have addressed the issue with their spice levels.

When I walked into the restaurant and asked the guy, do you have any substitutes for rice, he said, "yes we do - nothing". I thought it was kind of funny and went with it. After all, I drove 8 miles to get there. Its a nice looking space and the chicken curry was great. But the smoked eggplant dish was salty. I ordered an IPA on tap and he brought it out to sample - it was flat, as he suspected it was. Then he recommended another bottled beer so I got that. He said it was like the IPA Id wanted but it was nothing like that IPA. It was completely different and not very good. He said they had gluten free bread but evidently that couldnt be substituted for rice. It wasnt the worst experience in the world, but they it doesnt look like theyve been there very long and one would think they could do a little better to provide for a pleasant experience - spent $42 and the only thing I liked was a bowl of chicken curry.

Not a great experience. It seems that the owner has spend much of his money on making his/her restaurant more shiny instead of focussing on taste of the food. We had ordered Aloo Tikki as one of our appetizer but it had small gravel. We showed it to the waitress and the restaurant was kind enough to not charge us for that appetizer. Our second appetizer was Shami Kebab but it had only 3 kababs in a plate with a pricey $12 tag. So if you are two adults you might be left wondering how to share the plate!! Our main course was bland to say the least (Afghani chicken and Methi Paneer). However, the food was serve in a timely manner and it was warm. The restaurant location is excellent.

Atmosphere was clean and modern, Buffett was located in the back corner & had about 8 options. Layout of the buffet was in a small L which as the amount of people increased quickly became cramped. Theres a large window into the kitchen which is cool as you can see whats being prepped in a very nice clean kitchen. The buffet was primarily chicken dishes with 2 vegetable options and naan. No lamb. Food was tasty, my only grips were there seemed to be no level of spice, lunchtime wait staff seemed to be only 1 person which made getting drinks or clearing plates difficulty.

My husband and I went for the second time. We had previously gone for their lunch buffet on Sundays. Really good! This time we went for dinner. It was a Thursday night around 8pm. A few tables full of people. I ordered the lamb curry which was delicious with a nice subtle kick of heat. My husband ordered the saag paneer. He loved it. I tried a bite and it was indeed delicious. We split an order of whole wheat naan which was excellent. The decor is really nice and modern with a beautiful bar and tatsefully decorated. Prices were great. Well definitely be back!

Masala Bay is the best Indian restaurant and one of the best overall restarunts in the nashoba valley area. Modern decor, friendly attentive staff, free wifi, and most importantly, delicious food!! If youve never tried indian food, this should be your first place! If youre a indian food connoisseur, this should be your new place! The buffet has all the classics, but also new exciting dishes as well. And at only $10 you cant beat the price. I could not recommend this place any higher.

My girlfriend and I are avid Indian food enthusiasts and so were eager to try this new offering in Littleton. They did not disappoint! The Channa Masala and Mirchi Ka Salan were both excellent. And large enough portions so that weve got lunch for the next day. The interior is simply decorated, with both tables and booths. The staff was very polite and appreciative of their new customers. Overall a great value for delicious Indian cuisine! Welcome to the neighborhood Masala Bay!

Discovered this place by accident after a day of skiing and it was a wonderful surprise. Modern dining room with full bar. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable staff made our family feel like welcome guests at another family home. Menu has all the dishes that Americans expect to see at an Indian restaurant, plus many delicious flavors to expand the palate. Everything was served fresh, hot, and flavorful. Try it if you havent, and go back again if you have.

We ordered take out last night. It was called in at 515, and it was not ready until 6 PM. I sat for 30 minutes, which might have been OK, except we specifically asked for one of our dishes (Butter Paneer) to be not spicy because it was for a 4 year old. This ended up being the most spicy dish, but I actually enjoyed this dish the most. When we called to tell them our experience, we were hung up on. Chicken Tikka Masala was OK, it was missing something.
