This place was wonderful. Our food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I frequent Kabob and this was by far the best Middle Eastern food I have ever had. Everything was very fresh. The complimentary salad and bread with Tanori was amazing. Before I was done with dinner I knew I wanted the dessert menu. I ordered the ice cream which was made in house and was a very lovely touch to wrap up the meal. The ice cream was flavored with cinnamon and a slight hint of nutmeg. As I said, Great touch to end the meal. My boyfriend got the Chicken and Ribeye combo and I got the Chicken. Even though the owner was training and helping out in the kitchen she made it around to our table to make sure everything was to our liking. The atmosphere is very cute and a good spot for a date night dinner. Prices arent bad either. I will be back. The only down side is I feel bad that she is one block off MD RT 5 in an industrial type area. Not that its bad or anything but I feel like she would get to volume of business she deserves. She did inform us the Friday and Saturday dinners are by reservation only and they are closed on Sunday.

Food was not that great. My salmon that was supposed to be wild caught tasted like farm raised (pond water) and the center was undercooked. Shrimp was okay, although tough. Lamb was just okay, and overcooked. Filet mignon was "not that bad actually, better than fast food but not as good as Outback" hubby says. There was some kind of grit on my food, maybe from their spices or Parts of the vegetables that were burned, not blackened but burned. The spices were very lacking. Seemed like old paprika with a taste of lemon and some sort of salt flavor. I thought maybe it was salt but then after the horrible bloating set in, I thought perhaps the salt flavor was from msg. Salad was swimming in oil. Did not seem to have any vinegar or something to off-set the oil just lots of oil. Rice was nothing special at all. Totally not worth the expense or long drive we had to get there. (an hour). I wish I had picked a different place for my birthday dinner!

The atmosphere was charming. Selection of the background music was fantastic and the volume was subdued so that it became an essential contribution to the ambiance without being intrusive. The food was wonderfully seasoned but the meat was tasty but tough. Unfortunately I shall not return because the lack of a liquor license prevents one from enjoying the most essential ingredient of an outstanding meal - wine! A meal without wine is like a sunset without the sun. The owner informed me that she had been in business successfully for 20 years without liquor but that she was working on a licence. Should any of you have any influential contacts in the Charles County government please ask them to expedite the licencing process so that I may return go enjoy a great meal with a wonderful wine. :-)

The food was not good at all. I asked for medium well steak but the steak was burnt and tasted like charcoal and seasoning (barely). The shrimp was not clean and tasted like...paper. The salad, bread, and rice were the highlight of my meal. The service was ok but I just couldnt deal with the taste of the food. The front of the menu says "Good food, Good service, Good prices"...WRONG! Good service...check...good prices....I think not($30 for burnt steak and paper shrimp)....good food....dont even get me started again.

I first discovered the Silver Skewers around 15 years ago and was thrilled to find something so special right in Waldorf! I moved to Texas about 9 years ago but when I go back to visit that is the one place I choose to dine! The taste of the food is absolutely bursting with flavor and offers a unique dining experience. A plus for me is that it is gluten free and since I have Celiac disease that is a must! The atmosphere is also very quaint and the staff is great!

Great food, friendly staff, large portions! Waldorf tends to have pretty homogeneous restaurants barbecue, wings, burgers snooze! This little gem is a refreshing treat for anyone looking to try something new. Their house kabobs are flavorful yet simple enough for younger palates (aka your kid that eats only plain hamburgers) but they have lamb, steak salmon and shrimp if youre looking to impress some adult out of town guests

We were blown away by the outstanding quality of the food and it was the best customer service we have had in years. We were visiting friends in Waldorf and found out about this place via my mobile phone. We will MOST DEFINITELY eat here each time we return to visit. It is totally unexpected given the location. If you detest chain food like us, then you will be very pleased as we were. YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY!!!!!!

Kinda quaint on the outside but inside is an inviting comfortable atmosphere. Staff is super friendly as the bring you a tasty side salad and bread with tandoori sauce,(which is delicious),. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Had the chicken kabob as well as the house special. Except for maybe being just slightly on the pricey side the value you get for it is definitely worth it. Seems great for a date night.

Today March 11th I visited this restaurant for the first time . The customer service was great. Even gave us free drinks of tea while we waited. The tea is great! The chicken I really wasnt impressed with due to the fact that some parts were cold. Which would suggest that the chicken is frozen before being cooked. So I would suggest that you check your food for freshness and temperature.

We are in from out of town. Our meal was absolutely fabulous. The rice, the lamb, the beef and chicken were cooked to perfection. For a Wednesday evening they were slow and only 3 couples in the place but perfect meal for a quick (YELP) choice and we will be back although we will have to drive an additional 40 miles back and worth the drive.

Ive never had a bad experience here. The food is consistently excellent no matter what you order. I love the salmon kabobs! I tell everyone about this place and havent had anyone come back to say they didnt like it. Its great for date night, or a more casual meal. Just call ahead for reservations on the weekend.

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing, as is the service in general. Its a relatively small venue, and they do not sell alcohol. But again, the food makes up for it. I recommended this place to some friends from Philli when they came down to MD and they enjoyed it as well. Great selection!

Excellent cuisine - always the best choice for me and my family. The meals are delicious and prepared fresh. The staff are amazing and extremely nice. Best of all the atmosphere is classy and encourages a great time. Thanks Silver Skewers for helping us celebrate yet another birthday for my family!
