For our party of 4, 2 were pleased but the other 2 were not for a couple of reasons. First of all, it was busy, but nevertheless, we couldnt even get the waiter to bring some bread because he said he couldnt until he took our order, which took some time in itself. On receiving the entrees, 2 were pleased, as stated, but the other 2, including myself, who ordered stuffed ravioli, were not. Bothe of us felt that the 10 or so small raviolis were far too skimpy for what we were paying. Nevertheless, I thought the ravioli was tasty but my friend did not and asked the waiter to take it back and give him what someone else got, which he did. No adjustment was made on the bill. .Given all of this, the restaurant could take a lesson from another we visited recently, which, without asking, did not charge us at all for a unsatisfactory entree and also gave us a free meal coupon for the future.

Have to say hands down, this restaurant is a hidden treasure. We walked in and was taken back by all the people waiting (after I called to make a reservation the day before and they do not take any) They told us 40 mins but it was maybe 20 at the most. We have not been back here in years and was looking for something new for anniversary. Our waitress, Maria, was spot on every recommendation. We ranted and raved so loud that we ended up meeting the couple next to us. They come once a week for a very long time. They are old school when the food is done, the dishes are whisked away...when the water is low, immediately the glass is full. VERY classy and intimate. The prices were right on mark and portions are PERFECT!!! You will not be disappointed

After being out of state for almost a decade, I felt it was time to try this place again since it was fantastic years ago when I lived in town. Took a client out here, three of us clocked almost $400 with wine and ordering whatever we wanted. Not a cheap place for those light of pocket book. Very good food, with great attention to detail as well. Wines seemed to be small vintners without the big name choices found in large chains, but the wait staff seemed knowledgeable about the wines so we found two winners. The sambucca at finish was good too. Would return again once I get over sticker shock. :-)

we went to the restaurent this past saturday. the ace was packed but we got seathed pretty quickly. the menus was a prefixed one and the dishes are on the expensive side. we are all vegetarians so we got the only 4 dishes they have on the menu. the food was okay, the service was as if we were bejng rushed rushed and rushed. i understand you want to get tje next customer, but man i have never been pressurised more at any other place. good food or not, i intend to never go back here.

I was out and about looking for a early dinner. We stumbled upon this restaurant not knowing anything. The decor is very fresh and clean, the service it prompt and fast. The food was the best I have had since being in Italy. Everything we had was fresh, homemade and we had wished we ordered different dishes than the something. It is not cheap, but it is worth paying for a meal that is prepared of this quality. We will return, and bring friends.

IMPECCABLE service! Absolutely delicious food. It is such a joyful experience every time we dine here. Weve already visited multiple times in the past 3 years and every single time we get the best of the best. The staff is so attentive to your every need, the inside decor is beautiful, and the food is superb. You would never guess by the outside location but this goes to show you cannot judge a book by its cover. My favorite restaurant, hands down!!

Overall its way overrated, but due to the lack of other authentic restaurants in the area, Ill probably go back. My husband is from Italy and has been looking for authentic Italian food in the DC area at a reasonable price. While the prices were more reasonable than downtown DC, Pizzico is still rather expensive, especially considering the location. The food is decent by "authentic Italian" standards, but nothing to write home about.

One reason meriting an update: the wonderful, rich tomato bisque. It is not the soup of the day very often, but if you go and it is, get it! Deliciously creamy, it is perfect in the winter or just when youre in the mood for some comfort. Get some of their yummy hot sourdough bread to dip (I like to make little "sandwiches" with the butter and dig in!). Served in this cute little tureen, its a great lite meal or start to a bigger one!

Fantastic service! I took my girfriend on our 2nd date there and it has become our 1st date experience over and over. We love it. The food is great. The service is fantastic. The location is very well hidden. I hope not so many people find this place, because once it gets consumed with customers, usually, the place atmosphere dies out. Were going there for V day next week...cant wait! btw- Wine list is definitely worth it!

This is easily the best restaurant in all of Rockville. The Pistachio ravioli is my favorite on the menu, but pretty much everything they offer is amazing. I wish they took reservations though. Youll be darned to find a table or a seat at the bar without an hour-long wait on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. The time to go would be during the week or for a late lunch instead of dinner on weekends.

Best Italian food Ive had since I was in Italy. The restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night. I found the service to be above reproach, staff was attentive without being overbearing. I never felt like they were trying to get us out. Pasta was perfectly al-dente. Would bring my Iralian friends here and will definitely be back. To respond to another review, I went in nice jeans and t-shirt.

Im very suprised at all the good reviews. No parking and only luck had us find someone leaving.. Long wait, just to be greeted by a snobby waiter who didnt hardly pay us any mind. ( my husband and I are younger and may not be the normal clientele; but not being rude because of that?) We finally got out over priced food that was just mediocre. We will not be returning

First thing you tend to notice about this place is that the prices were generally high. But then, your order arrives and with your first taste you get completely blown out of your mind. That was the experience I got after dining there with my new girlfriend. She wasn’t as excited, but I could tell she would love to be back. Great place, Great food, Great service!.”

Warning: this place is incredibly fancy. Like suit and tie, nice long dress, you could propose here fancy; which is not expected since its outside exterior is a little run down. The food is really good but the serving sizes are very small and the prices are very high. Save this place for a special occasion.

Exceptional food; warm sophisticated interior; wonderful wine list; and incredible wait staff. Everything is the complete opposite from the outside! (hint get the ravioli with the pistachio cream sauce to start every time). Wife and I have been charmed every time.
