I wish I could give a better rating than Okay, I really do, but too many things went wrong. My husband and I live in Baltimore County, but spend a good deal of time in Anne Arundel County shopping and meeting friends for dinner. When we arrived at Two Rivers were seated in the bar area without being asked if we had a seating preference. Then a woman and her 3 young grandchildren were seated in the booth behind us. One of the children kept kicking and banging into the seats over and over. We finally asked the waitress to say something to the woman, she did, but the woman obviously had no control over the child. I dont think 3 children should have been seated in the bar area on a Saturday night to begin with. About a 1/2 hour after we were seated, the live music began. It was a man on a guitar and it was so loud we had had to yell across the table to our friends to be heard. We asked several times if the music could be turned down and were told that they had asked him (the singer) several times but he kept refusing. They should have asked if we wanted to move our seats or threatened to fire him! I started with a blueberry martini. It was very pretty, but way too sweet! When I said something to the waitress she gladly replaced it with a drink that tasted far better. For dinner I ordered the Tenderloin Tips. They were fatty and appeared to actually be sirloin tips with a fancy name and higher price, I only ate about half because the other half was all fat. They also were not cooked to the requested temperature. For dessert we had the dessert shooters. They were out of 2 of our 3 first choices. What we wound up with wasnt very good and tasted refridgerated. We asked to see the manager, but he or she never stopped by our table. This place had only 2 saving graces that evening: 1) the interior is really cute with booths in the restaurant area designed to look like front porches, and the big screen in the bar area to look like an old drive in movie that used to be in the area; and 2) the waitress was wonderful that evening. She did everything she could to make our meal enjoyable and she was really delightful, but she didnt have control over the kitchen, musician or manager. I really wish we had enjoyed our evening more, but to say we did would be a lie.

Went here for a family dinner on a sunday. Reservations were made ahead of time so there was no wait to get seated. Waitress was fun and delightful, treated our party well and made us feel extremely welcome. Drink selection was the usually for draft beer. A couple of real crafts, fat tire and heavy seas, were nice options. Fresh and warm bread was included. For the dinner i order a blackened Mahi-mahi with a lemon sauce on rice with coleslaw and a cup of cream of crab. Asked if the soup could come out first with the salads and rest of the appetizers (request was granted). The cram of crab was excellent. Was particularly impressed with the size of the lump pieces in it. I was slightly disappointed with the fish. When it arrived, i initially thought the portion size was a bit small for the type of dish (should note that this was a special), but it ended up being just perfect. The fish had a superb taste and texture (moist and flakey) with the lemon sauce complementing it just right. The rice also added a nice flavor and texture. My only complaint was the blackening, i am used to a blacked dish being well blackened and spicy. This on the other hand was not hardly blackened and the spice/hotness was lacking. However take the blackened description off the name of it and you still have a great fish dish that i would still order. Coleslaw was the usual fair (how can you mess it up). Normally i dont have deserts, but after the desert tray was brought out i think we all changed out minds that night. I order a Chocolate Fudge Cake with a Raspberry Sauce. When it arrive, it was at least twice the size that was presented on the desert tray, and far better than i expected. Even though this is a bit of a drive out of my way, i would consider returning again (also helps i have family near by). The location is in a shopping center at the east end of 100 so its easy to get to. The dining area is a medium size but east to get around. While i didnt;t have a chance to really take it in, the bar seems nice and big, with plenty of room. Hopefully ill have the chance to return again.

Went to 2 Rivers for my wifes birthday, our first time there. We were quoted a wait time of 40 minutes (busy Saturday night rush), but were actually seated in less than 20. The bar was nearly full, but the bartenders were fairly prompt in getting to us. The bar was very noisy, as there was a live band in the reserved room next door, but the dining room was quieter. We were greeted quickly. We ordered mini crab cakes as an appetizer, which arrived quickly and were delicious. We both ordered steak entrées, she ordered the filet tips with crab cake, and I ordered the NY strip. We didnt have much time to eat our salads (we were chatting a bit, too, but the meals arrived very quickly). My steak was done perfectly (ordered medium rare) but my wifes was not (ordered medium, was well done, no pink at all). However they remade her meal completely, and offered shrimp scampi to keep her busy. Her filet tips were done perfectly the 2nd time. I dont mind an error on occasion, if management tries to make up for it, which they did. The desert, creme brulee, was incredibly tasty. I will undoubtedly return to 2 Rivers.

Two Rivers was an excellent seafood and steakhouse. I dined here with my bi-weekly dinner club about 10 months ago and it was just fabulous! There was a little bit of a wait, even on a weeknight but it was okay because it gave us time to chat up a little bit. After we were seated, We ordered beverages and the server took our food orders. Everywhere I go, I always order some type of meat dish and while Im at a Steakhouse, Ill always get the most tender filet I can sink my teeth into. This steakhouse lives up to its high rating with its wonderfully cooked steaks. My dinner club friends also had wonderfully tasting meals and overall, we had a great time. The restrooms and general area of the restroom was clean and tidy. Parking wasnt bad, even thought its part of a shopping center and not a standalone restaurant. Though, I havent been here in 10 months, I do remember that the whole experience was excellent and I recommend this dining experience for anyone whom cares to give this establishment a try! :)

My wife and I went here for Valentines Day. They took call ahead seating, and we were sat almost immediately upon arrival, which was surprising considering it was Valentines Day. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. Their rolls before dinner are dangerous. Be careful not to fill up on them before your entree arrives. Our steaks were expertly cooked and their sides were delicious. We each had broccoli, I had mashed potatoes and my wife had asparagus. She said it was the best asparagus shed ever eaten. The only thing my wife didnt care for was the spinach and artichoke dip. She said the taste of mayonnaise was too strong. I didnt think so, and we didnt want to make a big deal. So, I ate some and we let the server take the rest. Overall, well definitely be returning to Two Rivers
