First time at the Donut Shack will not be the last, by far the best donuts around. Much better than Dunkin or Amish Market donuts. So many donuts to chose from but tried boston creme, maple glazed,and chocolate. They dough is light with perfect amount of glaze and/or creme, all around doesnt taste artificial or mass produced, you can taste the handmade difference. The coffee is delicious and the prices are wonderful. The place is very clean and inviting and the staff very friendly. They are open 24 hrs, wow what a great place!

Nothing comes close to Donut Shack. I live 5 minutes away from a Krispy Kreme, but havent stepped foot inside it since its opening. I literally drive past one on the way to get donuts from Donut Shack instead. My co-workers (I work in Frederick) would rather have Donut Shack donut than from anywhere else. 24 hour times (except M and Tu) meant satisfy cravings at anytime. Donut quality is consistently top notch.

Donuts are freshly made in house. The Chocolate Honey dip is to die for, and the prices are cheaper or on par with other lesser donut chains like Dunkin. The cake donuts are nicely dense yet fluffy (obviously like a cake) with a slight crisp. Open 24 hours with the exception of one or two days. Make sure to call ahead if you plan to go in the early morning or late night hours just to be sure theyre open.

My husband and I are 2nd and 3rd shift so having a place we can go to get fresh doughnuts with friends in the middle of the night was amazing, The doughnuts are really tasty and not too expensive and the staff there is great! They even made us some lemon doughnuts (they didnt have any out) and brought them to our seats on a plate! Amazing!

Incredible place - a true hidden gem. Im so glad that places like this still exist. The vibe in this place is great - old fashioned atmosphere with counter service. I also like the simplicity - donuts, pastries, coffee, thats it. With so many boring chain restaurants in the world, this place is refreshing.

I wasnt living until I ate at Donut Shack. Im almost positive I jizzed my pants a little bit after biting into their Double Chocolate donut. The coffee is way better than Dunkin, if only it was closer to home (I drove 30 min for the sole purpose of eating a donut).

THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live like 15 minutes away worth the drive. Their best donut is the fuggie if you like chocolate but also have other great choice wide variety to choose from and most important always FRESH!!!And on top of that Great customer service.

Seriously some of the best donuts Ive ever had. Open 24 hours means its my go to late night spot. Ive often gone and made fast friends with other patrons... Very friendly people! Bottomless coffee if you eat in. The French Crueller is what keeps me coming back.

Just had the privilege of tasting their "Fudgie" donut...MIND BLOWN! I dont know how they did it, its super fluffy and moist on the inside and crispy chocolatey on the outside. Seriously the best textured donut Ive ever had. Definitely coming back for more!

Cute little place with so many doughnuts to choose from. I was in town visiting family again and there are just too many dunkin doughnuts in MD.It was nice to see a small doughnut shop for a change, and charming one at that. THE DOUGHNUTS ARE FANTASTIC BTW

The best donuts in the country. Ive lived in Krispy Kreme country and in the heart of Dunkin Ds, but the Shack takes it to another level. Theyre bigger, fresher, and more flavorful. The Blueberry Cake is hands down the best Donut Ive ever had.

Great people & Great Donuts! Only draw back is they dont accept Credit or Debit cards. The quality is top notch and they are always fresh, unlike some other competitors products... ((Cough....DD....)) Tryem out and you wont be disappointed...

Best old-fashioned donuts in eastern MD. Dont be fooled by the photo though, its in the last shop-front on the left now. Cash only (theres an ATM), and make sure to get there early as they sell out by the end of the day.

Donuts are half way decent when its fresh, but most of the time my family and I go, its hard and stale. Plus they only accept cash, making it very inconvenient. I had better coffee at royal farms which its a shame.
