Nice people, terrible delivery. I attempted to place an order on Tuesday while on the train from DC to NYC. I was going to be in NYC for 4 days and wanted to send something to my husband. I completed all the information and attempted to submit. I received an email from Cookies By Design with the subject, "Thank you for your order." I never opened the email but assumed my husband would receive the gift on Wednesday. The order never went through, I chalked it up to problems with connection on the train, and I placed another order on Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. I paid $25 (RIDICULOUS) for delivery on Thursday. When it was not delivered on Thursday, I got a crazy story that there was a gate at the building and it was key coded so the gift could not be delivered. There is no gate and the building is open to guests during business hours. Apparently the delivery person was in too much of a hurry to wait for a person to answer the phone. SO, at the end of the third day of my trip, my husband had not received his gift. I finally had to tell my husband about his surprise this morning to get instructions for delivery. He said that they get deliveries all the time. He said that if the delivery person called, it would go to him or his colleagues and they would know to pick it up. I called your store and shared this information. The delivery person called my husband when he arrived at the building around noon today. The call rolled to my husbands colleague. She told my husband that the delivery person would return at 3:30. The delivery person did not even try to wait for my husband to get the message and come down to get the gift. He also did not inform the people at the desk in the front lobby that he had perishable goods, because they would have let him leave the gift for my husband to retrieve. He did not return at 3:30. By 4:15, he had not returned. By 4:15, I was home from my trip and could make cookies for my husband and deliver them myself.

Horrible customer service and delivery. I placed an order for the valentines day emoji set with an additional dozen of red velvet cookies. The description says it would come with emoji face cookies like the heart eyes, kissy face, etc. I only got 1 cookie that said happy valentines day and not even one emoji styled cookie. Seemed like a very cute thing to give my girlfriend on valentines day. I had them being delivered to her work place which they never delivered on valentines day which was very disappointing. They even say that if they have a problem with delivery they would call me which they did not. when I tried to call this location to find out about delivery around 3:30 pm valentines day the line was disconnected and was disconnected the rest of the day because I tried to call multiple times. The next day I had to call corporate customer service and complain because I couldnt get in contact with this Baltimore location and I paid my money for cookies to be delivered. They tried to transfer me to this location and again phone line disconnected, so they told me they would text the manager of the franchise to get back with me. she eventually got back to me at 3pm later that day. I called corporate at 10am. Once I talked to her she told me she would look into what happen to the delivery and get back to me. She did not I had to call back at 6, which the line was now working and a worker miss degross told me the manager wasnt in the office and would be returning soon and give me a call back. THEY NEVER CALLED ME Back. Very poor customer service and delivery. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FRANCHISE. I deserved compensation back for the missed delivery which I didnt receive. My girlfriend received her cookies a day after valentines day and thy jus let anyone sign for it and I had to tell her go find the cookies shaking my head. Horrible business

These guys are awesome! I ordered from them at the last minute to have an Anniversary gift delivered the day of my best friends One Year Wedding Anniversary. Of course my friends were out for 30min and of course these guys showed up right in that window. Amanda from Cookies By Design called immediately to tell me the attempt failed and whether they should try again later on that night or just try again the next day. I said it would be completely fine to try the day after because I wasnt sure when theyd be back from their Anniversary dinner and it would probably be late. Im not a picky person. But then at 10:30pm my friend texted me pictures of her and her husband with the cookies, thanking me profusely and that the delivery driver had said Cookies By Design wanted to make sure they got their gift on their anniversary. I could not believe they did that! It was so late and they could have just been like meh they said it was ok to deliver tomorrow. I will recommend them to EVERYONE. I want to hug Amanda and the delivery driver! Thank you guys so much for your amazing service! I wanted to cry last night when I got those pictures. It is really amazing to find a business these days who will seriously go out of their way to make sure people feel special and important. My friends were mind blown and said the same thing. They will use these guys any day after that reliability.

Tonight I received the ultimate service by the owner/manager of the Baltimore Cookies By Design. A gift was ordered to be shipped, but Ahmed prefers to deliver to protect his product. When the delivery van was not able to access the military base where I live and returned to Beltsville, Ahmed personally drove about 90 minutes from his Baltimore location, to the Beltsville store, and then back north to meet me with the delivery on the military base. Each conversation I had with him revolved around his pride in going the extra mile for his customers, and putting the personal touch on the gift through delivery. Ahmed - you are TRULY #1 in customer service. You have won my business, and my highest recommendation to my friends and Family. Well done, Sir!

I ordered these cookies at 9:30a today and they were delivered to my friend who just had a baby (in Annapolis!!!) by 3:30p the same day!! What fabulous and prompt service and my friend loved them. I will always send these cookies to new Moms because they are absolutely beautiful and the perfect way to mark such a special occasion. You almost dont want to eat them, but you should because they are delicious. Thank you very much Cookies by Design Baltimore!!!

I had such a great experience with this location! Made the order online and it was delivered to my sister within an hour. I had chosen a Happy Birthday balloon to go with her cookie cake (which looked JUST like the picture online, by the way) and it was just a round colorful balloon. She ended up getting a very cute butterfly shaped happy birthday balloon that was even prettier than the one online! I was super satisfied and will use them again!
