Was there November 20, 2015. Ordered scallops, that were burnt and VERY salty. They burned the back of my throat and I could eat. I also ordered 2 trout fillets, they were stringy. Fish is to be flaky not stringy which is an indicator that the fish was OLD. I have lived in that area 25 years before I moved to North Carolina. I have never had an incident. My thing is sometimes when the small businesses open their doors they are doing everything right. So word of mouth travels that that is the place to go. Once the customer base is established they start to slack off. Point Im trying to make is I work hard for my money. For the food to taste that bad something is wrong. I hope no one else gets sick because these people want to hold on too long to fish that should be thrown away. I will call the health department and have them come take a look before someone gets hurt.

Best seafood in the immediate area. Bought the filet of Perch and it was muy delicioso! The fish was fried so light that it melted in my mouth. A plus would be that they use a type of cooking oil that distinguishes it from their competitors. I would definitely take the trip across town to enjoyed some exquisite seafood from this unique establishment.

Best deep-fried fish Ive ever had. You pick which fresh fish to fry. I asked the helpful guy behind the counter for a recommendation. I dont know what kind of white fish fillet it was, but it was so crisp, fresh with a light salting and cheap. There are no tables, but eat it right away before it gets soggy.

Ordered a Scallop platter & Whiting platter. Was not impressed as the scallops were bearly done. The fries were really potatoe wedge slices. Just not to my liking. :-(

I have patronized for over 30 years, the fish lately is not Fresh. Croaker were terrible. Maybe the oil should be changed more often.Very, very disappointed.
