The sandwiches are delicious! Especially the Reuben. And the deli sandwiches are HUGE! - loads of meat and fixins. The prices are great too... Its a small place and it can get crowded but it is More Than worth it ! (the previous reviews were spot-on too about getting there. DC isnt a big city, if you have to just walk there - its worth it ! - and about the Reuben - GET IT !!)

One of the best corned beef sandwiches Ive ever had; quality, quantity of meat, and taste were better than expected. Staff are surprisingly hospitable given the joints presence in DC. Only downside, but an understandable one, is the cash-only nature. Luckily theres a gas station next door with an ATM, although charging a fee.

I was in town for work and wanted someplace local. Got a meatball and a corn beef sandwich and they are to this day the best sandwiches I have ever had. I have been traveling with my job for over six years and I do not take my food lightly. this place is a unknown treasure.

Talking to these people over the phone was an experience I wont forget. Yelling, impatients, and attitude. I get it was early in the morning, but if you open at 6 then you had three and a half hours to wake up.
