After paying about $18.00 for two sandwiches (one for myself and one for my friend) I simply asked for a side of Italian dressing to put on my grilled chicken sandwich. They told me that I had to pay for the side of Italian dressing (which was like $1.25)!!! The lady taking my order was very nice but after dealing with her the customer service from the rest of the staff was terrible. When I went to pick up my sandwich the people making it told me they had called my name numerous times and that they had been waiting on me to pick it up, as if that were an inconvenience to them. My sandwich was okay at best...very over priced in my opinion. If the customer service had been better $18.00 for two subpar sandwiches might not have seemed like that much....but the customer service and my overall experience was terrible. I will not be going back there and do not recommend this restaurant.

DELICIOUS! Everytime I come to Williamsburg, this is my go-to restaurant. Sometimes, Ill go here two days in a row. The Gyro is delicious. The Ruben has a lot of corned beef on it (not too much sauerkraut or sauce like at some places). The pizza is wonderful, so are the onion rings! The hamburgers are made with fresh (not frozen) beef. The plain burger is under $5, the cheese and bacon cheese burgers are $6 and under. Its a FAT burger for the price! They have loads of hot and cold sandwiches. The only thing is, if you go in there during lunch and dinner times, its going to be slammed (and loud)! Sometimes is hard to find a table. 2 PM until 4:30 PM is the perfect time to go because its not too busy. Theyre closed on Mondays though. They also advertise in the Williamsburg tourist magazines with a 10% off coupon!

Traveling home we saw the post for restaurants on the sign for this exit on Interstate 64. Go out of your way to find this place. We got turned around a couple of times and I was about to give up and say lets go to Burger King. My wife said just hang in there. The funny was this place was established in 2005 in an old Burger King restaurant. So in a way both were satisfied from that stand point. However I am here to tell you the name is spot on. The hot corned beef and pastrami on rye was piled high and outstanding. My wifes Ruben was spot on. They have won the title of best food by the local paper EVERY single year since it opened in 2005. They have earned it proper and true.

Dank here with the family the other night cafeteria style restaurant seat yourself order at the counter pick up at the counter the waitresses or Waiters no tipping. The food was very good portions generous. 2 of 4 cook food home too much to finish. Ordered a pizza two days later, unbelievable. Plain pie little expensive. Im from Jersey where there is a pizza joint on every corner, they taste relatively the same. The pizza here had so much cheese on it and the pizza sauce was so good the crust was chewy and crunchy at the same time. Absolutely delicious. Will make it a point to come here whenever were in Williamsburg Virginia.

Great place! The food is phenomenal and the people are great. They were very busy when I was there and the line to order was long so i thought Id be there all night waiting but it moved quick and was no problem. I got the Italian sub and it was thick with meat and they use better quality cold cuts than the chain sub stores. I like subway for low price, but this place does quality in my opinion. This is my sub shop when working in Williamsburg

Steak and cheese sub sandwich is the best and all I need/want! Love it! Reduced rating because the last time I went there, my daughter and I waited for 20 to 30 minutes before we got our food. I went to the grill and asked them were they working on my order, some guy said that my order is up now/next; I still had to wait another 5 or 10 more minutes. My daughter was very patient, thank God. I prefer not to go there anymore.

1st visit and will definitely return! The Reuben Rye was piled high and tasty. French Fries -nothing special, typical basic frozen fries; coleslaw was very fresh tasting. Carrot Cake- very good, moist cake and a good cream cheese frosting. We arrived at a busy lunchtime but they have an organized system and the food came out efficiently. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Keep up the good work !

All I can say is deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelicious!!! Sure, when its busy, you have to wait 20-30 minutes sometimes. Thats how long my whole pizza took. But so what?? All good restaurants take time to prepare the best! It was my first time here. NOT disappointed. This should be one of the top five delis in the US.

Talk about pile high sandwiches. We got an appollo sandwich and a gyro. We were splitting both so we could try a couple different things. Everything was delicious. More food than one person needs to eat at one time so a lot got wasted but extremely good. I totally recommend this place.

This place was amazing. When we walked in the first impression I had was the cleanliness (a big plus for me). We had the Pizza and Greek salad with grilled chicken. The food was fresh and seasoned well. Best Greek salad I ever had. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Local favorite. There is something for everyone in our picky family; pizza, pasta, subs, sandwiches, salads, burgers and a whole lot more. Its usually VERY busy, so we lot to go between lunch and dinner when its slower, around 3-4.

Rueben had a ton of meat but was very sweet (corned beef should never be sweet) and not enough sauerkraut or dressing. Greek salad was bland and 99% iceburg lettuce. Sailor rye was pretty good, but overall were pretty unimpressed.

Was once excellent and great value, now overpriced and poor quality. The son is now running things, much different from when mother and father did. We stopped going recently after multiple orders were made incorrectly.

New York Deli is a must visit for anyone visiting in the area. My family has lived here our whole lives and we enjoy the deli a few times a month! Bobby has an amazing staff and the food is always enjoyable!!

It seems like a nice place, we wanted to sit down to eat bit there was no room, and it was very very busy. They had not tables or booth to accommodate a family of 6. The food looks and tastes delicious!!!

Awesome. Whenever were in or around Williamsburg, this is our stop. Huge sandwiches. Everything is freshly made. Real New York style food. Try the corned beef/pastrami. You think you were in the City.
