I just moved into the area, and I have to say the high point of my month in Maryland has been the Safron Bakery. It has a well lit, upbeat and welcoming interior complemented by a low key and friendly staff, including the owner/baker. The free wifi is a HUGE plus and they usually make a little extra money off of me because I stick around so long for it. Even without the aforementioned amenities, this place would still be worth visiting a few times a week because the baked goods are just a-mazing! A basic croissant is flaky and delicious (have it retoasted, with a cup of cofee) and the various sugary, fruit filled pastries are equally scrumptious and overly tempting. I havent tried very many of the styles of cakes yet, but what Ive had has been delicious. The chocolate chip cookies are best described as EPIC. Oh, and the bread is great too, with a splendid variety of styles and prices. Its definitely worth stopping by on the way to a dinner party, or if you just want to impress the family. Yeah, Im kind of in love with this place.

Well the price just depends in what you order like if you was to order a roast beef pesto that would be like 3.50 per roast beef pesto. I actually have a family member thy works there the hours are orwty good to the latest they stay open Is about eight oclock so I have actually ordered a roster beflef pesto and it was awesome so I would moat tecomrne this cafe and what I also like is its right beside everyday fitness so when o hey off NY shift o can j right to MT gum then to home so yeah I really like working rhwre

I called a few weeks prior to get a quote on a cake I wanted to order. When I called back to order the man that answered the phone was rude and wanting to over charge me. When I told him about my previous call he told me about another cake closer to what the woman I spoke with before had given me but still wanted to charge me extra. After asking if I could cancel the order he spewed off some words and hung up on me before I was about to get my question out.

Im shocked to see a bad review here! I havent had much experience with the baked goods at this store, but their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are excellent. The owner is extremely nice and polite every time we go. It is a solid 20-minute drive for us from the northern side of Hagerstown, but we crave their breakfast sandwich and coffee nearly every weekend - so we make the drive!

I was not able to try any of the fantastic doughnuts myself but I must say Al is amazing! I called day of to ask for some doughnuts to be delivered and he was so pleasant to speak with on the phone and really helped me make someones day special by delivering doughnuts for their birthday. He even wrote Happy Birthday on the box for me. Thanks Al!!!

We were very disappointed with the selections and the quality of what we did receive. The bake goods dont hold a candle to those from the Cookie Jar. But even more disappointing was the slow and surly attitude of the clerk. We seemed to be intruding on her time. At any rate, well make the trip across town to a quality bakery.

Its a unique, quaint Greek cafe style restaurant. The owners and employees are very friendly, and helpful with describing a meal item. The food is excellent, I have not been disappointed!. It is a great place to stop between appointments or classes in the area, with a medical center and Hagerstown Junior College nearby.

I live behind the bakery so I ventured in purely because of convenience. To my surprise they had a great selection of breads and pastries and even Baklava. The prices are ridiculously cheap too. Its clean, the atmosphere is pleasant enough and the service is extremely friendly. I go back regularly now.

Al made our wedding cake - and it was absolutely beautiful! And bonus it was the most delicious cake we ever had - all of our guests raved about the cake! Service was awesome, I highly recommend Safron Bakery :) THANK YOU SAFRON BAKERY!

Food is consistently good. Selection somewhat limited. They do not advertise what they have enough. Comfortable environment. Breakfast sandwiches are great! Custom made on request. Quiet place to work and eat for a little while.

Out of towers looking for deserts on our way to a Friends giving and we stumbled upon this gem. We loved the deserts souch we made a special trip there again this year. Cheesecakes and baklava take the cake!

Love their almond croissants! Excellent baked goods and lattes. Today I had the chai latte...yum! We also enjoy their soups and quiche lunch specials. My favorite soup is the mushroom bisque.
