Awful customer service!! Went there 2 Sundays in a row to watch the football game. I have a 3 yr old and a 3 month old. The first time they gave us a booth near a TV and we had no issue. The 2nd time, they gave us the same booth, and then we were told to move because they wanted to sit another party from outside there. I asked to be put at an open table, I was told it was reserved. They said we could split our party up and give us two tables next to each other, and then they gave those tables away. They finally sat us at the side of the bar but it was too loud for the kids. We had to take the kids out and go stand somewhere else just to get the food boxed up and to pay. We complained that there were still open tables and we were told that they were supposedly “reserved”. Who reserves tables in the middle of a football game and doesn’t sit anyone there all afternoon!? Finally we left, there were still plenty of open tables and they didn’t even offer us compensation to for kicking us out of our table and not even attempting to be accommodating to our family. Not sure I will ever go there again even if it was free.

Customer service was good, and place was fairly clean. We ordered a 12" peperoni pizza, mac and cheese for our son, and bruschetta for an appetizer. Bruschetta was basically bread and diced tomoato. Very little flavor. No mozzarella cheese on their version. The mac and cheese looked and tasted EXACTLY like Kraft Mac n Cheese from a box. Only you get a portion about half the size of the box, and you pay $5 for it. The pizza was mediocre at best. Could have had a better tasting one for cheaper by getting a DiGiorno from the supermarket. Especially for the $13 price tag. So to sum it up... far too overpriced for generic food. $40 for a basic pizza, mac n cheese, bruschetta, and two drinks. No thanks. Wont be going back here again.

The food was unimaginative and was barely warm, despite having just come out of the kitchen. The water and tea had a horrible taste. Plates and silverware still had dried food on them. The salt shaker looked like a hunter who had just gutted a deer had handled it and there were gross things in the shaker. Even the waitress was grossed out after we showed it to her. She apologized each time but I can guarantee we wont be returning.

Very nice place. Great staff and great food. I lost my credit card there and they found it and kept it in a safe. When I came back to reclaim it they asked for identification of the credit card and for an ID even though I had already said that they had been called about it (which they had been). Very professional. I highly recommend this place.

Lack of attention, poor service and the food was cold We had my brothers 50th birthday party and we constantly waited on food and when it shows up it s cold... We never had enough to drink. We only had 1 server for a group of 40 plus and the manager never checked in to see if everything was ok

Grotto pizza is very good but it is also very expensive. Even with the 9 buck special it is still very expensive. The extra ingredients are also expensive. The pizza is good but not a good value. You can buy pizza from a local pizzeria ( not a national chain ) that offers a better value.

Fast, friendly service. We had pizza and wings, both were good...not the best ever but better than "ok". The kids got a kick out of the popcorn cart- they could get their own popcorn out of the popper and put it in a basket for something light to munch on while we waited for our food.

Probably some of the least tasty pizza Ive had. I dont understand stand why youd put the sauce on top of all the other toppings, truly asinine. The whole point of a pizza is to have crispy toppings, not soggy and drenched in a subpar tomato sauce. The service wasnt memorable either.

Food is pretty good, service usually decent, sometimes slow. Biggest problem is unless you order pizza or everyone at the table orders the same thing the food comes out in stages. Akward when one person is finishing up with their meal and the other is still waiting to be served.

Visited this restaurant on yesterday, the service was awful; the food was nasty; and the waitress was inattentive. I could not believe how slow the service was because the restaurant was empty and that should have been the first red light. New management needed like yesterday.

Really missed Grotto Pizza after our Ocean City vacation ended, so we searched out this one. The pizza was just as good, and the service was better than in OC! But I cant believe how difficult it was to find. None of the streets had signs in this sprawling set of open malls.

Ordered breadsticks with cheese got stale bread with no melted cheese on top. Taste like what I can imagine prison food must be like. TV at are seats didnt work. Pizza taste like it was made in the microwave. Ill be taking my money somewhere else for now on.

I didnt have a good time. The pizza was ok but the restaurant as a whole was what took away from the experience. It was WAY too loud around the bar and it wasnt even crowded. I had to ask to be moved to a far corner to try to enjoy my dinner.

Great people great food but there was a peace of paper stuck on the bottom of my sisters pizza that she almost eat but we just wanted to let them know about it to be more careful and they paid for the pizza so that was really nice of them

The salad was obviously a bagged salad. Fries were also obviously frozen bagged fries. The food was very bad all around. Nothing we ordered was good. The ambiance was not family friendly either... I wont be going back ever.

Had a great experience at grotto. We love sitting at the bar with their $2 pints and awesome bartender. We always come on Tuesday nights because we love having jenna serve us. She is always so friendly and personable.

This is my preferred local pizza place. The food is always good and the atmosphere is friendly. They also stay open late which is a bonus for those really lazy weekends where you end up eating dinner at 10 pm.
