I live in the area and just had dinner at this restaurant. I have been here Many, many times but tonight was probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Ever! My husband and I ordered drinks and an appetizer. So far, so good. The salads came next. Not really bad but I would not recommend the house vinaigrette--way too much vinegar! My husband ordered the Salmon and Shrimp Scampi @18.99. I ordered the special Chicken Paesan @$16.00. My husbands entree arrived and he was disappointed to not have pasta served with his entree. He asked for a side order. The pasta arrived in a small bowl. Nothing but angle hair pasta. No sauce, no butter, no nothing. Fine, he only wanted a side order to mix with his scampi BUT, when the bill arrived he was charged $7.00!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!! Are you kidding me? My ordered arrived and it was hardly even edible. Who in their right mind would put banana peppers in a wine sauce with mushrooms. Not only that but the chicken in my entree was really unpalatable. Pounded, unseasoned, gristly and overall YUK! I couldnt even eat it. Really J&P Pizza? You really should not be in the restaurant business if this is the type of quality your deliver. **Note** Our server Christin, was not at fault. The food and how we were ripped off was just really, really bad!

First they speak Italian. What a plus. Second one of the owners is there overseeing what is going on. Lastly they serve by the slice. So you know that it is a good start. That being said very, very good pizza and I am used to Pizza from Brooklyn, NY (I was born and raised) and Belleville, NJ. (My wife was born and raised). Just probably the right water would make it perfect. Not to thin and not to doughy. Cheese was above the normal restaurant crap. Dough has to have been made fresh that day. Pasta was solid, soup was good. Great competition to one of my favorites in Urbana, Manga e Bevi. It is great to have such decisions to make. They are neck and neck for the two best Italian places in the Frederick area and better then my last place of residence Birmingham, Alabama that didnt even seem to have an Italian person.

Had a great experience having a baby shower at J&Ps Springridge. The party room was roomy and beautiful. The food was delicious! Service was wonderful! Tonys help was valuable with making the arrangements and overseeing and helping during the event. Everyone had many great compliments on the room, service, and food! We were very happy with such a special day!

Over priced and horrible, 1st time ordering carry out from them since they opened back up. They should have stayed closed, $56 for 3 subs and fries and 12 mild wing...that where far from mild so hot couldnt eat them and they were way over cooked, so were the fries, and there was hardly any meet on the subs.

To me NY pizza means hand-tossed and thin crust. Ive gotten that before at this location (or what I took to be that) but this crust seemed to be pre-made (possibly frozen?)...didnt work for me It would also benefit from oregano and olive oil

Best Italian food in Frederick County. Real Authentic everything is fresh. Love eating in the newly renovated bar and somedays outside on the patio when its not too hot and humid. Friendly Stafff and positive experience overall.

Their calazones are great! I wish they made their garlic bread like the Mt. Airy location does. But its still good.
