My girlfriend and I came in here for the first time this past Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was around 1:30 and the place wasnt very busy. There were only about 4 other tables occupied and 2 people sitting at the bar. The place is a pretty decent size too. Plenty of room. The atmosphere in here would be nice for a sports bar type of feel though personally Im not crazy about concrete for floors. There were 3 TVs (maybe 4?) located throughout the restaurant...one at the bar and the others were in the dining area. We ordered our burgers upon entrance. The primary idea of this establishment is to build a burger your way, from the ground up. You can pick everything...bun or a lettuce wrap, what type of meat, what type of cheese, and toppings. There are a few "pre-assembled" burger choices but the selection is fairly limited and none of those appealed to me on this particular visit. We also ordered the loaded fries from the appetizer menu. I completely missed the appetizer menu; my girlfriend spotted this section and noticed the loaded fries. Otherwise I wouldve just ordered the regular side of fries. We also ordered a couple fountain drinks - there only seems to be the one 12-ounce size but you can refill. We then took a table and waited for the food...it didnt take too terribly long for the order to come out; maybe 10 minutes. The burgers were good, though overcooked. We asked for medium; they came out as well done (no pink to them at all). As far as size goes, they were a decent size but for the price, they couldve been a bit bigger. The loaded fries were okay...all they had on them was bacon bits and what appeared to be cheese sauce. Honestly, I was expecting a bit more for "loaded." Overall, not bad. Ill round up and say 4 stars...but if it would let me, I would go more towards 3.5.

Loud. With decent food. I am a bit of a burger snob and though my standards have been lowered dramatically living in the DC / Maryland area, I try not to give slack . These burgers are average for the local burger chains/joints. Similar to bgr, cheeburger , Grumpys etc. A properly cooked decently frozen patty from Costco comes out about as nice. Decent topping options. Good blt. Fries are ok, another place that thinks you can throw raw potatoes straight from the slicer into the frier like 5 guys. So they come out limp and soggy. But its becoming the standard among hip diners. Food is served on quarter sheet pans. A cheap and neat idea. I may introduce it to my home casual dining. Not a soft surface in the place. Its like dining in a working garage. TVs replace power tool noise. Incredibly loud. A few people talking can create a huge din, causing others to talk louder, causing more din... And round it goes. Staff seems to be entirely mad up of teens or just above. Polite enough, but you know, teens. Parking is small but ample enough. Hopefully its more than just a bar with burgers attached and will continue to develop;but coming from the loins of green turtle, I expect it will slide downhill and end up like that place. A bar that will microwave up junk for those drunk enough not to notice the quality. Well see

We ate take out dinner from this place and both the service and the meal were great! The burgers were thick and really seemed like good quality. The fries werent great but fries often arent good as take out once the steam from the containers makes them limp. The staff was very helpful and packed everything really well adding lots of condiments, plasticware and napkins. Excellent meal. Prices were good. About $8 a burger and $2.50 for fries. Inside of restaurant was very clean and orderly. There were picnic tables outside and they were full service also. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 was because burgers were well done when we asked for medium. They werent pink at all and were a bit dry on the bottom part where there was no sauce. Overall, I highly recommend the avocado burger. Delicious!!

My girlfriend and I went to UR Burger the other day to hang out and watch the Terps game and we loved it! I got the Sunrise Burger, which was perfectly cooked and juicy. She got the Sweet and Savory salad, which is fresh and made to order. They have an extensive selection of local, craft beers on tap, which was perfect while watching football. They even have a milkshake bar (which you could add alcohol to), which made for a tasty dessert. The menu makes it the perfect casual lunch/dinner restaurant and all of the servers were extremely friendly making it a welcoming option for happy hour. We will definitely be going back for more burgers and milkshakes!

We ordered our food at 12:01 and didnt get our food until 12:35. I understand the kitchen can get busy at times Ive worked in one before but we saw other people get their food before us when they arrived after we had. When we asked the server why the wait was so long She said " well theres only one cook and we got in alot of take out orders and a bunch of orders at once, Im sorry". Now I understand that orders can come in waves and be overwhelming but why did other people get their order before us? The servers apology didnt seem genuine. The food was good but I dont think Ill be going back anytime soon.

Happened to go to UR Burger one day because it was close. No one else in the family wanted to go. We went and wow.... My son is always looking for a good burger. This place was great. Friendly staff and the burgers were amazing. Ive been back twice and my son has been back a dozen times. Great burgers and friendly people. Im sure its just as good later in the evening. This place kicks Five Guys in the face. I shouldnt even compare them here because its two different leagues. Love it.

Ordered the Hickory burger, fries and a coke, It took 25 minutes from the time I ordered till the time I received my food. Had some sort of paper product on the burger. Other than the burger incident it was ok, nothing special. They serve plenty of fries that have a greasy taste. The price was reasonable. Service is ok. The manager refunded my meal due to the paper in the burger. I really want to like this place. May try again at a later date and adjust the stars accordingly.

The staff was friendly and greeted me as I walked in. The service was excellent. I ordered the Sunrise Burger with fries, and they were perfection! The burger was delicious and juicy. The fries were crispy and seasoned. Im unsure of what temperate URBurger usually cooks its burger, but I asked for my burger to be prepared medium rare and it was spot on. If anyone is looking for a fast causal place with good burgers and booze, check out URBurgers full service bar.
