Went for weekend buffet. Good taste, Good vegeterian and chiken items. Buffet included chicken 65, samosa, sambar vada, hakka noodles, plain rice, paneer butter masala, kofta, tadka dal, chiken masala, tandoori chiken, birtani mixed, goat curry, gajar halwa, fruits, rice pudding and hot masala tea. The weekend buffet is priced at $12 (last time it was $11 I thought). Hakka noodles was the best item in the buffet. I would say Rasoi buffet is much better and the choices are are better in buffet compared to other indian restaurants in gaithesburg area that charges around $15 or more for weekend buffet. Highly recommend to go there for the weekend buffet. Awesome weekend buffet. restaurant manager Satish(i think that is his name) gives warm welcome to the guest and is a nice to talk to person.

I was taking green chutney the worker/waiter said that it is BAD, you should not have it and he threw it for me. Why not tell other people the same? Why even serve it if its bad? Asked them to please refill Korma curry on the buffet and the one waiter said its" Kadai Paneer ", and it will be a minute. Waited for 20 min and told other waiters that i am waiting on Kadai paneer. The waiter initially said 5 min and went in the kitchen, returned and said sorry oud Chef is busy it will be around 15 minutes. I dont like wasting food my naan was going bad. Noodles was good like Indian style thats why 2 star. Not happy with the service, food is Ok. Have had better food and service for cheaper price. May not come back here.

Being an Indian did not like this place. Very few items for lunch buffet. One veg and one non veg curry also one veg and one non veg starters. Have been many restaurants around this area, most of the restaurants serve more items for lunch buffet. It seems like the cook is new and does not know how to prepare food. Chicken curry, and dum aaloo what they for weekend buffet. This is worst place for any indian to go. Dont go if you are looking for good authentic indian food.

This place looks run down. Hoping entering it was just not climate controlled. There were 2 table of people and it took them 2t mins to come get our order. 30 mins to get appetizers then 45 more to get main entree. The lamb look petrified and undercooked. The rest of the food was salty and without taste. Tables and chairs were dirty and the high chair for my son was just sticky and nasty. It smells like bleach when you walk in. We couldnt wait to pay the bill and leave.

Chef Koshy Varkey does a excellent job of cooking up a storm for lunch buffet!!! Many Indian dishes tempt the palate at a very cheap price makes one very happy and looking forward to returning back again. The lunch buffet alternates its menu and it never stays the same ,which is a welcome as other places have the same menu for lunch .I loved this place. Food is excellent and the staff is friendly and efficient and the drinks were reasonably priced.

Date 4/1/2017. Taste of the food is not consistent. Upon asking to the manager he said taste inversely proportional to business of the restaurant. He was so rude that he dint find it important to show the apology for anything. Ambience, service and quality is really bad. Smell of the bathroom cleaner (clorox) is all over the place. Every dish we ordered was made in a sweet gravy for eg. Manchurian, panzer Chilli etc.

Ordered delivery, I was repeatedly given incorrect etss and lied to. Two hours + for delivery and lied to every step of the way, originally told to expect delivery in 1hr then told additional 10-15 min after every call. They blamed it on traffic and address problems but traffic map showed no issues and I have ordered from this place several times in the past and they never once had to confirm or correct my delivery address.

The place served good food in a timely way. Mango lassi is a must try. The crew was pretty fast in delivering food. We tried bread basket, chicken curry, veg and chicken briyani. Veg briyani was excellent. Chicken curry came with a bowl of rice which was nice. They have a party hall and can accommodate group lunch or dinner. The place is not exceptionally cozy. They had a bar too.

Rasoi is one of the better Indian restaurants in the area. They have a decent range of items---including some nice Indian Chinese stuff like fried rice and hakka noodles---and most of them taste pretty good. I also like their Biryanis. They have lunch buffets every day with a reasonable variety of food. A meal here would cost between 10 to 15$ per person.

We were in town for a debate tournament and had a party of 20. We called ahead and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. The food was tremendous (some of the best Indian cuisine weve experienced anywhere). We ordered dessert, which capped off the meal perfectly. Highly recommend.

Nothing much to say... I had a weekdays buffet. Main course of it was bad..Spices were not cooked properly and full of red cilli powder made the taste weird. Price wise it is cheap but quality of food is simply awful. Please do not judge Indian food after having their buffet.

Definitely gets a three star compared to other Indian restaurants such as Jewel of India, Maurya, Sapphire and Curry Leaf which are around the same area. The food isnt terrible but its not five star. Not sure what these other people are smokin.

Good Indian food, and at good prices, is available along with a few Chinese dishes. I found the service friendly though our waiter seemed distracted. I wish the menu had hot spice level indicators or we were asked what degree of hot we wanted.

Excellent restaurant! A hidden gem in the bottom of an easily overlooked hotel. Incredible food and dishes are different for the buffet each time weve gone. Great for vegetarians! Very reasonable prices and nice atmosphere.

I ordered paneer shaslik kababs which were half done. Too bad to eat. Nan and da was ok. When i asked for accompaniments i was refused saying even onions are chargeable extra. Too bad. Below expectations.

Food is the right amount of spicy. Service could be better. The ambience is convinient. Place looks sufficiently hygienic. Its a 10 minute walk away from the University of Maryland, College park campus.

Good food but sad atmosphere. I ordered carryout twice from here. The food tasted good but I dont think I would like dining in. Each time, the restaurant was empty with only one other customer.

Their weekend buffet offers plentiful choice of Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, baskets of well-prepared fluffy Naan breads, with appetizers, desserts and Masala Chaai.

Well, I would say there are much better places than this. The food is okay, dishes arent that good. Its okay for going once in a while but the food is just not that great.
