Friendly, fast, real home cooking. Had fish special, baked cod with Mac.n.cheese. Not cheese sauce but real cheese. Wifes cream of crab soup was thick, rich, and well stocked with hand picked crab. Service was enthusiastic and quick. Still great place in 2017. Fast lunch, real food cooked on site. Tuna melt us mostly tuna, not filling binder or heavy mayo. Quick jaunt parallel to 70. Will stop more often.

If you like sweet home cooked pies and all american food made fresh daily then this it a great restaurant to dine in. The prices are less then you would expect. The specials change everyday to insure your taste are pleased. I love this place and it is affordable to eat there everyday..

Wow, this restaurant was such a nice surprise. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and the owner is congenial and friendly, meeting you right at the door. Just like the name, this is a country, cosy place to eat. Aaaaash!

A quiet place to eat in a rural setting. The service was fast and the employees are very friendly. Overall, the food was good and the prices very reasonable. although the portions were smaller than most diners.

Great hospitality, tasty food, and great service. We came in as part of the Ragnar Relay and really felt at home. Enjoyed the spaghetti and sweet potato fries. Well be back for more.

Quiet little diner that sit up on the hill 2 miles west of Clear Spring on Rt.40W.Homemade food at its BEST.Clean,friendly place where you can take a family . Recomend it.

Nice mom and pop style diner. In my many, many stops I only had one bad experience. I have been back since and they are as good as ever! The cream of crab is my favorite!

Stopped by to get off of I70 for a bit and was pleasantly surprised. Great waffle fries and sandwiches. Their milkshakes were great too. Staff is very friendly!
