Stopped in for lunch with my grandmother and daughter. Waited at the counter for over five minutes to be acknowleged for order. Then was told, as we were eating in, to have a seat and someone would be over to take our order. That took another 3 minutes for someone to come and just take our drink orders. After another 7 minutes, (yes, I was timing it) I finally went BACK to the counter to place our orders. Two days later (today), while checking my bank statement online, I see I was charged an additional $8.43 more than the cost of my food, which is all I authorized on my card. I gave our server his tip in cash on the way out! I put it in his hand and stood and talked with him for about 2-3 minutes! Naturally, I hopped right on the phone, but the restaurant does not open until 9am. Needless to say, theyd better correct this error quickly and I will NOT be eating there again.

Went to my favorite and get piss poor service! Wasnt greeted upon entering; 2 waiters standing around yet took a few minutes to come over to take order; messed up our order; didnt have eating utensils with our meal; slid the bill on the table without even saying anything plus we werent even half done our meal. I laughed and said ok well Ill just talk to the owner and the kid says oh he is my father and Ive been working service for a long time and continued running his mouth while Im asking for a to go box...I walked out the door laughing and saying thank goodness for social media!! Very disappointed in the customer service at this place! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Never even got to taste the food. We waited in line to order and were told to sit down to be served. The same guy at the counter proceeded to take the order of the man behind us in line, talk to the cook, bus a table that had been dirty since before we came in, wipe the table for the man whose order he took in place of ours, and then greeted and took the order of another table who sat down while we were waiting. We asked several times to place our order and each time were told we would be served, but after close to half an hour of being completely ignored, we left. The menu looked good, but who cares if you cant get service?

I use to think way more of the Terra Café, but the more I go there, the more dissatisfied I am in the quality of their food, their offerings and general service. After not visiting there in a while, I ordered from there the other day using their online menu, which clearly states that the 4 wings and fries are $6, but once I got there, of course that wasnt the case... Im proud of the black-owned operation for the thought and their general direction, but this place needs consistency in management (the old one), their old chef back, and some organization before they run more people away.

I went here to get coffee. The place was dead empty. I decided to get a breakfast sandwich because I thought it would be quick. I sat down with my coffee. The staff just sat around. After 20 min I finally saw someone get up and go into the fridge for the ingredients for my sandwich. I didnt have time to wait any longer, I had an appointment to keep. If the place was busy, I would totally have understood the wait, but in that entire 20 min of sitting there there wasnt a single other customer. Maybe the food was worth the wait, but Ill never know.

I am not sure how this place keeps getting high reviews. I wish could give the place zero stars. The customer service is horrible, which makes any experience I had here horrible. If you have a group over five, dont go here. They do not know how to accommodate for any groups over five. They tried to turn our group away several times. The girl keep yelling "next" as she took our order instead of saying "what would you like to order?" I regret having my 30th birthday party Here. Will not go back ever again in life.

Tried his place for lunch with my boyfriend and it sucked. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt, however, the food was horrible. My turkey burger, while large and cooked well, was tasteless. Even the chipotle mayo was bland. My boyfriend had the baked fish which was rubbery and way overcooked. It was as if it had been sitting in the oven to keep warm since early in the morning. We wanted to love the place but we were highly disappointed and will not be returning.

After recent run-ins with top-notch burgers at the Hamilton Tavern and the Dogwood, I came back to the Terra Burger. This is one of the freshest, juiciest, tastiest burgers that I have ever had. Its topped of with sautéed onions, lettuce, house made Chipotle mayo and tomato. Definitely a must have burger! Ive been here about 4 times now and have experienced the same great customer service each time. Happy people, clean space, and fantastic food.

The fish sub was perfect and the vegetables on the side were soooo good too. My friend who said she hates cabbage could not stop eating their cabbage. She said they had seasoned it so that she liked it. Everyone was nice and friendly and laid back. I went in there exhausted and kind of nervous from a long day, but by the end of the meal was calm and content in the way that only good food and a good atmosphere can make a person.

My order was incorrect the 1st time but without any problems they took it back and after 10 more minutes when the correct protein returned my side of greens were cold.i was hungry so i wouldnt dare send them back but i had no choice after the top came off the hot sauce and they were swimming it..overall the food was a 2 of 5 but for the smiles ill give them 3stars.

I enjoyed there turkey club with the salad I dont eat red peppers in salad but that was great I went there tonight and had a wonderful time the pineapple cake is addictive the yams are the second best the first best are my grandmothers they were that good please go there it is good if you decide to go please get the turkey club or the chicken salad

Delicious. Beyond delicious. Loveliest of personalities and the coolest atmosphere. I am devouring my steak sub and the scrumptious Chipotle Mayo adds the perfect amount of taste and spice to make it the best. I am the envy of my co-workers today but happily shared a few morsels for a teaser. MINE :)!! Thank you Terra Cafe!!

I was in the neighborhood for a meeting and had time to stop for breakfast and do some reading. Saw this place and figured I would try it out. The coffee was strong and the food was great! Try the Terras Breakfast - hash just like I make for myself at home. Wasnt crowded at all for a weekday breakfast - but it should be!

Today was my first time visiting and eating at Terra Cafe. I did not like my food or the service. The food was overly salty, the staff was not friendly and our soup and food was cold. I will not be going back. There was one guy that was friendly, I apologize for not getting his name.
