Sunny Day Café is like a second home to me. It is the only restaurant that Ive been to that draws its menu offerings from so many different cuisines and succeeds in making every dish taste like you would expect it to taste if you ordered it at a high end restaurant specializing in that individual geographical variety (Greek, Cajun/Creole, Italian, Tex-Mex, French, downhome Southern, light Asian). Of course, if a good ol American cheeseburger and fries, or a proper Maryland crab cake is more your thing, theyve got you covered quite nicely there, too. Every dish that Ive tried has been on-point! This is the only place that Ive told the owner, Laurie, that she should raise her prices. Seriously, I once ordered a vodka penne special that they could have priced $8 to $10 higher, and I would not have had to think twice about still ordering it. The portions they serve for the price they charge are amazing, only to be surpassed by the taste and quality of the dish itself. My go-to plate is the ham and Swiss crepe, especially when Justin is working the crepe griddles, but Ive never ordered anything that was less than very delicious. Space is a bit limited; but, that kinda adds to the coziness and intimacy of the place. There is a spirited connection between staff and regulars. After only a few visits, the folks there knew what I liked, and made me feel more like a friend than a customer. Recently, on less than 48 hours notice, Laurie offered a daily special just because I mentioned that I would like to try her version of that particular dish - shrimp n grits, which was amazing! Service at Sunny Day Café is always phenomenal! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, their food, and the people who work there!

Food was pretty good as well as the service. Not exactly my style in decorations, but who cares if they know how to cook? When I hear cafe I think overpriced sandwiches and a place that barely attracts business and isnt open at night because it sucks compared to the competition. Well, this place changed my mind about that. They arent afraid to put spices in their burgers, and you can ask them to go easy on the spices. Place is pretty clean to boot. Even the cops seem to like the food. They seem to be there quite often, so it cant be garbage.

A cozy breakfast and brunch spot, that serves traditional breakfast foods, as well as seafood and Greek lunch dishes. A lot of the county government officials and jury from the courthouse frequent here. My food order is taken and consistently brought out in a matter of 10-12 minutes, depending on how busy they are. This is a welcome convenience for someone who wants a great breakfast or brunch, but doesnt have a lot of time.

Had the Chicken Divan crepe. Portion was bigger than expected and the filling was generous. Taste of crepe was bland. Perhaps a different cheese besides Swiss would have added more flavor. The onions were sweated, definitely not caramelized. Staff was friendly and decor is cute. Space inside is limited. If I eat here again and the food tastes better Ill increase the rating.

Very enjoyable meal today at the Sunny Day Café. Service was excellent and quick, food tasted amazing! Very flavorful, I picked the crabby crepe which is a crab dip filled crepe. My companion picked the Greek omelette which also was bursting with flavor. Very nice surprise to find such a gem here in Bel Air.

Ive been twice now and found the food to be mediocre each time. My crepe was soggy, omlette was under seasoned, and the french toast is made with regular bread and not "Texas toast," as advertised. Service was fine if not a little awkward and haphazard. I probably wont go out of my way to eat here again.

Crepes are fantastic. They have this chicken cordon bleu crepe which was fantastic. Not healthy for sure but man it was good. Not great for groups of more than 4 unless youre outside. Inside is pretty packed and fills up fast at lunch. Best breakfast place in town.

Went there today for the first time. It was excellent! Had one of their savory crepes(Ham & Swiss). It was a more than I could eat portion and not very expensive! Looking forward to go back again. Staff was very pleasant.

Loved this quaint breakfast place as I was leaving town. Friendly staff, quick meals, and a good price point. Not the most amazing food, but I loved the hospitality and our meal was on the sunny outside seating. Love it!

Small, neighborhood place that seems to have really gained a following. Food is great and its clean. Tables are uglier than sin and some of the service staff is a little overwhelmed, but i usually enjoy my breakfast.

Food was pretty good, crepes were a good choice, much preferred breakfast place over chain restaurants. Was just a little congested/crowded, not much floor space. Look forward to going again.

This has been a great addition to Bel Air. Nice unassuming café, pleasant staff, and good food. A great example of a mom and pop restaurant which we have added to our weekly routine.

I love the home cooked food! The only negative is there are not a lot of seats and there is almost always a wait. But the wait is worth it!
