It wasnt anything to write home about. My food was okay, not great and it came out so fast that I wondered when it had been cooked. I ordered the chicken and spinach enchiladas and I guess I expected there to be more inside of them. When I cut into them, it was basically just grilled chicken pieces and a small amount of spinach. No cheese, no rice, nothing. I didnt get the table side guacamole which I hear is the star of the restaurant. The service is what I wasnt a fan of at all. We finished eating and they cleared our plates away about 15 minutes later and then we sat there and chatted for another 30 minutes or so before our waiter came back. We were sitting there holding our credit cards waiting for the check and he just dropped off the check and then walked away. We were ready to pay and had to wait another 10 minutes for him to come back and get our cards. The restaurant wasnt even that busy either.

Very good American-chain style Mexican food. Casual atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Lots of booths, but you can find a table, and some of the booths will move. Great menu selection. Good salsa. Good food quantity and a fair price. This is my go-to Mexican for Maine so far. I think theres a "sister" restaurant in Newington, NH.

I read past reviews, but knowing that all things can improve I went, and there was nothing wrong. In fact the exact opposite! Smiley friendly staff welcomed me And I was able to have a quick lunch while they were busy with no problem.. I will be back again and with friends to share this great place in south Portland :)

Hands down the most bang for your buck among Mexican eateries in the greater Portland area. Dont be too swayed by the claim of "authenticity" though: while the owners may be a Mexican family, most of the menu offerings are quite Americanized. Which is not to say the food or drinks are bad. Quite the contrary.

I think that Ive eaten here about four times: lunch and dinner. The service is always very fast and the staff is courteous. I havent eaten a lot of mexican food, so, I cant say how "authentic" it is. However, everything that I have eaten has been very good.

Went for lunch. Authentic Mexican. Just fantastic!! Staff was outstanding. Service was fast and friendly. All ingredients were super fresh and tasty. Get the pico and guacamole. Its worth it. Prices were inexpensive. This is our new favorite place to go.

Authentic Mexican fare and unbelievably fast service! My son has an allergic reaction at some Mexican restaurants BUT NOT THIS ONE. They use quality ingredients and the food is always great. Its our favorite restaurant for hungry teens!!

Incredibly flavorful, friendly service, food came fast! I would recommend to anybody that enjoys Mexican food. The menu is extensive and I think has something for everybody. Get the guacamole made table side, you wont regret it!

I have never been to Mexico, but this food has to be about as authentic as you can get. The flavors of the food were distinctive and I could taste the nuances of the flavors. The staff is good and the restaurant is clean.

The food is horrible. The service was great, but basically received a taco shell with some meat a bit of lettuce and cheese. The presentation was awful and very unappetizing. A total disappointment and waste of money.

Bad restaurant experience. Bartender was slow and the service he provide was not worthy of a tip. I went on a Saturday night and the bar was empty. Service should have been quick and friendly. I will not be back!

Used to love going here. The portions have become smaller. They rice is the main portion of their meal. The enchilada I ordered were so small that looked like an appetizer. Staff is very nice as usual.
