I came into Chipotle about 12:00pm today just to find it in pure Chaos. It was barely busy. I immediately took notice of how the employees that did have their hats on had really messy buns with hair falling out, the first thought was how much hair am i going to have in my burrito by the time i pay for it? The 6-8 people working behind the counter that I could see were running around appearing to be doing something but all the ingredients for the burritos were 1/4 full or empty. What was left over in the pans was very old looking food, and there were pieces of different things mixed in with others (corn in the sour cream, guac in the cheese). I even had the girl who started the burrito pulling things out of that werent supposed to be there after she scooped the meat into it. I am a regular customer(well i was) I would come in atleast twice a week to get some food because it can be really good. After seeing all of this I couldnt seem to find anyone that was in charge, because if I did, I would have certainly spoken to them about it. Instead I got a skinny young girl with high raised eye brows shooting me dirty looks every time she turned away from the grill. Get it together Chipotle, because I could easily go somewhere else and spend half the money I do there for a meal that is prepared by a very FRIENDLY, CLEAN and LESS CHAOTIC enviornment. I am appauled. By the time I hit the soda machine, the ice light was on, there was NO straws, and about 1 fork left. Just because you do a lot of business, doesnt mean you can just drop your level of quality assurance and customer service.

Today the service was only 2 star- website was down so I couldnt order and I even had a hard time finding a number to call and no fax, when i called the girl tried to tell me i had to order on line or by fax and i told her i already tried so she had to find a manager to ask if she could take order over the phone...came back and messed up my order verbally twice, hoping it will be ok when we pick up... Love it otherwise - only messed up on one of 15 orders by forgetting one salad

Chipotle always makes a fantastic burrito, and they make it quickly. Usually theres a line here, but I think its faster than most fast food to get through the line. The seating is usually plentiful enough, and there are both bar style seating and booth style. Parking can be a challenge during busiest times. Overall a consistent and filling meal each time.

The Sunday night staff was extremely unprofessional. This included slopping the food on to our plates as if they were put out to be working, and sliding the chairs from one end of the restaurant to the other to prep for closing. The message we and other customers received while eating dinner was clearly, Get Out!

Every visit to Chipotle: You: "Yes, Ill have a vegetarian burrito." Them: *slides warm wrap with rice/beans to next co-worker* Them: "What type of meat do you want?" You: "I dont want meat, I ordered a vegetarian burrito." Them: **slides wrap through meat juices on prep-counter to next co-worker**

I agree with user below, staff doesnt work as a team and too busy socializing if you have the time make the trip to Westbrook and go to the chipotle there. They are fast, efficient, and very friendly. They also are pretty good with portions as well and dont give you less and less each visit.

I love the way you can customize your meal here. The last time we visited this location, at lunch on a Tuesday, it was busy and the drink station was very wet / messy. The ladies room also had a lot of water every where. They do not have a diaper changing table.

Great burritos!! But the waiting in line for 15 minutes stinks! I have also had the same. RUDE girl mess my order up twice!! She doesnt listen and interrupts when you try to tell her what you want. She never smiles either. I also paid $1.25 for STALE chips:(

As the first Chipotle I ever went to, Ill always have a special place in my heart for this one. Chipotles food is great, and I really like the Portland location. Its near the mall, a quick jump from the highway, and is usually busy but not overwhelmingly so.

I went there the 1st time and was dissapointed..I had a chicken Burrito and there wasnt much chicken in it .also none of the flavors seem to come out..I can make it better at home..even though there was a line it moved quickly..I would not go back..

My wife and I visited and they did not have steak ready for her burrito so we had to wait a few minutes, no big deal. The management compensated her burrito because of the wait which was completely unnecessary but really appreciative.

The food is decent. If there is a line, the staff moves it pretty quickly. Sometimes it seems like they dont want to give you alot of salsa or toppings. Also, check the lettuce if you get a salad. Sometimes it appears wilted and red.

This location was hard to get into when I was there due to some construction and the parking lot only being accessible from the back. The vegan option, sofritas, was delicious. This location was busy.

I usually eat Chipotle twice a week. I like a barbacoa burrito bowl with extra cheese. The Chiptopia program gives me free burritos all the time! The South Portland location is always crowded.

The process to get food here is painfully slow. I waited a half an hour in line. The staff needs to work on speeding it up. Several people came in and left right away when they saw the line.

Standard chipotle, but with longer lines. It isnt any more crowded than other locations, the staff is just inefficient/slow. Ive actually been standing in line for 10 minutes as I type this.

I was standing outside waiting for them to open. Try opened up early and were very helpful. Store was spotless and food great. Manager and staff are top notch.
