I go to this Chipotle location once in a while for lunch because of its close proximity to my work place. I like the simplicity of the ordering process. However, if you expect to get there right when the store opens, which is supposed to be 11:00am, youll be waiting outside for about 10-15 minutes before they unlock the door to let customers in. Ive learned now to sit in my car and watch everyone else bang on the door and peek in the windows until the employees finally open up 10-15 minutes late. I do kind of find this humorous, but Chipotle must be losing a lot of business! On my last visit a couple days ago, I watched at least 5 people bang on the door at Chipotle, wait a couple minutes.. then walk next door into Panera instead (Ive done this myself at least 4 times). I could understand this happening occasionally, but every time I go to this location for my lunch break they do not open on time. If I didnt have such a generous lunch hour I would have to go elsewhere. Not to mention when they finally do let the customers in, sometimes not all of the food is ready so you either have to pick from whats available or continue to wait for the rest of the food to be put out. Oh and if youre one of the first people in the door, make sure to check the soda machine to make sure the little drinks tips are removed before you try to pour yourself a fountain soda. I went to pour myself a coke once and the machine sprayed soda all over my shirt and pants, sucked hardcore because I had to go back to work. (apparently no one removed the little tips from the fountain soda machine before opening the store). Of course everyone in the restaurant whipped their heads around to look because of the noise. Embarrassing! Received some glares from the staff, no apologies. Once you do get your food, the quality is fine, the portions are large, and the service is generally acceptable. The prices are reasonable. I think they should stop charging an extra $2.00 for guacamole (Qdoba doesnt charge extra). Will I return? Yes. The location, convenience, and taste of the food are "A-OK". Plus I like watching from my car as the "Chipotle Zombies" bang their heads against the glass waiting for the employees to finally unlock their doors.

Very dissatisfied with the service that Ive received tonight. I arrived around 9:20 and asked for extra pinto beans for my bowl. There was literally barely a scoop left and they clearly werent fresh. what was there was thick and solidifying. I asked if I could have fresh ones because what was provided was absolutely DISGUSTING and there wasnt even a full scoop, let alone enough for extra. I was denied 3 times.. I was assured they were completely out for the night and that the restaurant ran out..Chipotle closes at 10 pm everyday. When I made it very clear I wasnt going to accept their answer finally one girl rudely snapped that if I really wanted pinto beans it would be over 20 minutes to cook them and that theyd be closed by then they wouldnt have time to make them. Mind you they close at ten. I explained I had no problem waiting 20 minutes and ordering food by 9:40 well before closing time at 10pm. I could clearly hear someone out back loudly say"this is bullshit"..They finally made a batch of pinto beans. Didnt even take 20 minutes either. Ive never had an issue with this location before but the workers tonight were extremely rude and discouraging even though I was very polite and patient with them. If you close at 10pm dont close down shop at 9:20. Its extremely annoying to get sass and attitude because of lack of preparation on their end. If you see you have less than one scoop of pinto beans that have been sitting out for god knows how long wouldnt it be common sense to make more instead of trying to skimp the customer out of food and serve them an inferior product? Multiple people were still just getting there to order someone walked out because they were told there werent any pinto beans and werent told they were making more. Very very disappointed with the subpar service today. I just wanted to grab dinner on my way home from work not deal with nasty teenager attitudes brought on by their own negligence.

August 16 2016. After a not so good day of vacations, we got rain for our stop in Portland and had to take a cheap room on Brighton. We decided to cross the street for a late dinner with no expectation. What happened next made our day. This is not the best food we ever had. After all, this is a fast food joint, but food was pretty good and the portions enormous. I had the carnival burrito and my girlfriend eat some kind of rice and beans salad. Food was tasty and did the job. I dont usually comment on my restaurants experiences, but with the service we received that night, I didnt have any choice. Ive eaten in all sort of restaurants, and I must say that this was by far one of the best service i had ever experienced. Staff was very considerate and happy to help us to make our choice. As it was out first visit in a Chipotle, the person who took our order even offered me to taste the two dishes for which I was hesitant. A really good move as my first choice was the less interesting. Miss, I didnt dare to ask for your name, but you really brightened this rainy day. To all the staff members who were working that night, I have worked for a couple of years in restaurants, and let me tell you that, at first glance, you form a fantastic team.

I came to this restaurant with a friend. The was no chicken ready so I waited. I was told it would be 5 to 7 minutes. I waited for 20 and stood at the front. I watched them get the chicken ready then they waited on 8 customers while I stood at the front. It appeared that they forgot I was waiting for a meal. I paid for the bowl and another sandwich while I waited for my bowl. It was clear that they forgot about me. I went to the register to get a refund since I didnt get my meal. The cashier went out back and returned. I explained what happened and the cashier looked very confused. I them told her to forget it. I am one of the customers that stuck with you when you had the bad press last year. I can tell you that I will not be back to any of your stores again.

Chipotle is consistent in their food taste and quality, but highly inconsistent in their portions. Today is the second consecutive time I have been served by a new recruit, and the second consecutive time that my burrito has been 30% smaller than standard. I understand that new recruits are not going to be seasoned pros, but its at the point where Im quite frankly not getting my moneys worth. If this happens a third time, Im just going to find a new place for lunch. The last two times have been great big (more like small) disappointments. Please urge your newbies not to be shy with servings.

No arguing the food is great. My wife and I have loved Chipotle since they moved to Maine. The only problem I have with this location in Westbrook is that the glass panels that the workers are behind are too tall. When youre giving your order or being asked a question by an employee it usually has to be repeated because the glass panels block voices back and forth due to their height. Add in that the music is generally being played too loud and getting your food from start to finish is a complete aggravation of repeating words.
