Horrible service... I will never recommend this to dump to anyone... I brought my son there who has autism. Just him and I grabbing lunch. we sat to the right as you walk in the door at a small table. As I said, my 7 year old son is autistic and can some times be very talkative. As I understand, it was the owner of the restaurant that served us. She seemed to be very pushy and in a rush while taking our orders. I was cut off in mid sentence by her several times because she felt the need to tell me what I should order when I knew exactly what I wanted. No big deal there, but that was only the start. When our server (the owner) was waiting for our food, I saw her glance over from behind the bar several times with a disgusted look staring at my son. That wasnt what bothered me so much, it was the fact that I overheard her with my own ears talking to another one of her servers saying how my son was too loud and she wanted to rush our orders so we could hurry up and leave. Keep in mind I was nothing but polite to this woman. Anyhow, she saw me watching her tell her server these ignorant things, and quickly went out of sight into the kitchen. I was very frustrated, but sat calmly and waited for someone to approach our table. The owner sent out a different waitress to bring our food for one, I spoke with the waitress and calmly demanded to know why the owner of a restaurant would say such things. I asked to speak with her or her husband as apparently he helps run the place. The waitress looked like she was going to cry and said they were unavailable to speak to. I told the waitress that it was not her fault but that I would NEVER be back there again or recommend that horrible dump to anyone. Anyway, we gathered our things and left immediately. I could tell that the waitress that the owner sent out was upset and didnt agree with what was said either, but I still have no respect for anyone in that building for letting that happen. NEVER GOING BACK AND IM SPREADING THE WORD...

This was my 2nd visit...1st time was great...I suggested to friends from out of town how great everything thing were my first visit.. we all understood that it was a saturday night..last. good weekend for county sledding...I informed our server that my friends were from out of town..and I had told them how much I really like my 1st visit....we were in the back table.. and its was like we were on our own...we got first round of drinks...apps. were cold... the guys had prime rib...it was cold and tough.. girls had the boiled dinner..mine wasnt cooked enough.. cabbage isnt ment to still be crisp...my meat was dry....atleast it was warm...our server never asked about refills on drinks or if we needed another.... We understand it was busy....and we werent in any hurry...I know this server has worked there for atleast 6months..he was my server my 1st visit...our server was more intrested in another table guest..then us... I know my friend wont ever go there again...its to bad cause in our neck of the woods there not many good places to eat...but serves is everything in this day and age.

Solid pub food with good selection of beers on tap. They usually have a cider on tap too and make great spiced hot cider! The pub is cozy and fun. Its a good place to gather with friends for a drink and a meal. They are very busy from 5-7 pm on Friday and many Saturdays. Decor is based on local history of Fire and Police departments.

Service was excellent, as was the food. I opted for the fish and chips, with a draft Guinness, and was not disappointed. I will definitely be eating here again, given the convenient location and excellent experience.

Why would you put bangers and mash on your menu if you have no idea what the dish should look or taste like? How little do you care about your food if you serve a BLT on burnt toast? Joke of a restaurant.
