We ate there within 15 min of them opening today. Most of the reviews were very good which is why we selected Finellis in Ellsworth. The pizza was very good but as we sat at our table looking around, we became disgusted. There was not a surface that didnt have crumbs on it. That included the tables, the stand with sprinkle cheese, the kitchen prep table, the floors, both in the kitchen and the customer area. There was filth under the drink frige and accumulated dust on the vents in front just below the doors. Every light fixture had bunches of dead bugs. The floor needed a hard scrub to remove the caked on dirt. There should be NO reason for a food service establishment to be that filthy, most especially within 15 min of opening. It is very apparent the restaurant was not cleaned the night before or in the morning before opening. If we were residents in this town and not traveling thru, we would not return. Such a shame that the pizza tasted so good but then one wonders what care was taken in preparing the food with regard to cleanliness! I think Robert Irvine would have stopped service and closed the restaurant until it was cleaned.

Great thin crust pizza... All kinds of toppings offered. Im usually a simple pizza girl, unless its fancy artisanal veggie pies like at Tinder Hearth Tuesday Pizza Nights in Brooksville, but I actually love the toppings heavy Ranch Chicken pizza at Finellis. Whenever we visit for takeout, my husband and I also never miss buying some of their delicious, meaty Buffalo wings with Ranch sauce on the side ~ they are the best you can get around here! Great drinks offered as well. Husband loves the park sandwich. Eat in with kids for the arcade.

Worst pizza ever! Crust was dry and burnt, very little sauce, toppings were miniscule, and the service was lousy. Even the beverages from the self serve cooler were warm, and they had no ice! Ive had better frozen generic pizzas from a grocery store. Left still hungry. Would never recommend it, or go back there. For a dry, tasteless pizza, the prices were excessive.

Im from the west coast (Portland, Oregon) and was fortunate enough to try Finellis Pizza while visiting my parents in Ellsworth. Best pizza Ive ever had! I got the Pizza Bianca and had them add Kalamata Olives and Artichoke Hearts. Im already looking forward to coming home for Christmas so that I can get it again! Sooooo good!

My favorite pizza in the city a bit pricey so I dont get it much the most recent time I went they messed up my bill and charge me more than what I owed them I only realized this after I got home and called them they were very kind and offered me a free pizza for my next visit so I would say good customer service.

Stopped by to order sandwiches and grabbed a slice of pizza. Pizza is really good and the slices are big! The sandwiches are huge as well! Place is clean and is good for medium sized groups. More of a casual dining location. Dessert, beer and soft drinks are available for purchase.

I ate the whole thing! Not just a slice - an entire medium pizza. Loaded up with fresh mushrooms, fresh onions, and pepperoni sliced thin, all swimming on a bed of pizza sauce placed on a crisp New York style crust. Whats not to like? Best pizza Ive had in Maine - period!

LAST VISIT ORDERED PIZZA TO TAKE HOME WITH ME, IT WASNT CUT SO I COULD PULL A PIECE OFF TO EAT AND IT WASNT COOKED WELL EITHER. HAVE ALWAYS BRAGGED YOU ARE THE BEST PIZZA IN ELLSWORTH BUT HAVENT DONE SO SINCE OR PICKED UP ANOTHER PIZZA. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

If you enjoy paper thin, crispy, pizza your in luck, but dont expect to get a satisfactory amount of cheese or toppings on any of the pizzas there regardless of paying extra for them. An empty pizza box probably weighs more than the a whole pie.

Fabulous pizza! Its the perfect place if you want to grab something quick, but dont want a burger at a drive-thru since they have several pizzas by the slice. The crust is crispy and flavorful! Large selection of beer and other beverages.

Came up here with family, and we craved pizza. Finellis was rated the top pizza place around here. Our experience wasnt as good. It was rubbery and chewy. Its doubtful the next time we come up here, they would be our first choice again.

The pizza is between fair and above average, and the service is always great. My only negative is the atmosphere. It looks a bit dirty and diner-esque. However, for the area its the best pizza around and you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal. Pleasant staff, fantastic pizza. Summer comes these guys are almost too busy. Which is good for them but a wait time can be expected at that point. Worth it!

They will ask if you would like to leave a tip as you pay. In my opinion, thats a very cheap method and is rude to customers. Its a pizza place, tips shouldnt be expected.
